Clubs : France : Paris : BC - Black Calavados

Clubs : France : Paris : BC - Black Calavados

About Black Calavados
A very confidential restaurant and club ... in fact, its one of the most select in Paris. The Black Calvados or BC (pronounced the English way) is reserved to regulars and celebrities. In a cosy atmosphere like that of a Parisian apartment, not far from Avenue George V, you can enjoy an amazing cuisine in an intimate, space that is decorated in black and steel. The club in the basement is open until 4am from Tuesday to Thursday and 6.30am on Fridays and Saturdays. The Golden Triangle is now the place to be!

Black Calavados Review By Chantal D.: New York, NY
"I spent a lot of time here when I lived in Paris. It is a young international crowd and drinks are expensive. Unless you are getting a table I don't recommend it because it is a tiny space and you need to stake your claim. Would recommend if you are 20 something and want to show off your new heels. Strict door policy so dress up!"

Clubs : France : Paris : Le Showcase

Clubs : France : Paris : Le Showcase

About Le Showcase
Located on the banks of the Seine River listed as World Heritage of Humanity, the Showcase is a fairly objective one of the best clubs in Europe. Housed in a boathouse more than a century under the Pont Alexandre III, its stone arches and size unparalleled in Paris put the Showcase halfway between a warehouse and a fully dedicated to the worship of the cathedral electronic music. As for programming, it mixes with headliners fineness global sizes of underground cleared and new talents with passion. His fame on the Parisian scene is more to do but it is also very identified today by the most demanding international clubbers.

Le Showcase Review By Dave H.: Brooklyn, NY
"There's something undeniably sexy about a club residing in the shadows of a bridge, an underground vibe. When said bridge is the historic Pont Alexandre III on the Seine, however, a highbrow club comes to mind.

Rest assured - past its bouncers - the atmosphere is very, very electric.

This cavernous venue hosts a booming sound system, and psychedelic lights underscore its vaulted ceilings. Amidst the brick environs, DJs spin techno remixes peppered with hip-hop to keep the sea of partygoers going, while bartenders mix drinks and shots (they take credit cards) for the thirsty. Be warned: Even if you don't dance, the crowd's energy is contagious."

Clubs : France : Paris : VIP Room Paris

Clubs : France : Paris : VIP Room Paris

About VIP Room Paris
It could be the most famous dance club in the world, if not the most full-of-itself social scene in all of France. And we just can't get enough of it, even when left standing outside for 40-minutes after passing the doorman 50-Euro. With a wink and a nod to '70s disco culture, the VIP Room occupies an all-new location at the famed LA Scala offering a dimly-lit celebrity dance den with summer outposts at the Cannes Film Festival and St. Tropez. The all-new Paris space is also home to a yet-to-be-seen full-service restaurant with small-plate menu of traditional French specialties.

We fell in love with St. Tropez VIP Room before every making our way to the Paris original. The look is much the same at the all-new location with a bit more investment paid to the décor within the new Paris mothership. Dressed-up damsels arrive to a main lounge surrounded in walls with digital scripting and sequin disco balls strewn from two-story rafter ceilings. Mirrored pillars separate VIP banquettes with illuminated cocktail tables opposite a central dance floor booming with French hip-hop anthems and occasional live performance. Every night is a different spectacle ranging from Paris Hilton-types overindulging within any dark and available corner to break-out starlets busting a move to the latest Solange dance track.

Review By LMc070 : Tetbury, United Kingdom
Our lovely Hotel Vendome booked a table here for 10pm where we ventured upstairs to eat, a very nice meal of crab & pizza whilst listening to a great guy sing some excellent tunes.. the service was very good and it got better... we we're introduced to our escort for the evening who delivered us to our table downstairs in the club. Thereafter, we danced the night away to great music, albeit on a small platform which suited our moves.. a great night out, easy, no hassle & great atmosphere!
