Wearable technology takes many different forms, but this wristband could be one of the most unusual yet. It’s called the QBracelet, and instead of showing you how many steps you’ve taken, or displaying notifications, it charges your phone’s battery. Equipped with a either a MicroUSB or a Lightning connector, the QBracelet’s built-in 1160mAh lithum-ion battery has enough juice to give the average phone around 60 percent of its energy back. While battery packs are nothing new, they’re not usually all that portable, and rarely could they be described as stylish. We’re not entirely sure if the QBracelet’s going to be everyone’s idea of jewelry, but it’s certainly better looking than a flat, black slab with a few wires sticking out of it. The design is apparently suitable for men and women, and will be available in a brushed or matte black, polished or matte silver, or a flashy polished gold for the truly ostentatious.

The connector is hidden inside the bracelet’s clasp, something like a Nike FuelBand, and once connected to the phone, it doesn’t flap around or get in the way, so the device can still be used. Also like the FuelBand, the QBracelet will be sold in different sizes. Described as light and sleek, we quite like the futuristic looks, but because it weighs between 40 and 50 grams, depending on the size, you’ll certainly know it’s on your wrist. For comparison, the aforementioned FuelBand weighs 27 grams.

If you’re always worried about finding a charger, and don’t want to stuff a regular battery pack in your pocket, then the QBracelet could be for you. It’s up for pre-order right now for the special price of $80, but this will increase to $100 once it goes on regular sale. According to the company, if you pre-order now, the bracelet will be with you in time for the holidays.

News : Kanye West Seeking Comedy Role

Kanye West reportedly wants to star in a "laugh out loud comedy".

The hip-hop star has made no secret of his desire to spread his wings creatively, even winning a cameo in Will Ferrell's flick Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. It was a sequel to the 2004 movie, which apparently made a big impact on the rapper.

"Kanye's dream is to star in a laugh out loud comedy like Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," an insider told the American edition of OK! magazine.

Apparently the star has already put the wheels of his dream in motion. He has put the word out that he'd like to try his hand at being a funnyman, although things aren't said to be going quite to plan yet.

"He's told his agent to find him a role in a big comedy, but so far no one is interested," the insider explained.

The move isn't as surprising as it sounds, as Kanye has dipped his toe into the acting world on many occasions. He's enjoyed brief appearances on TV show Entourage and 2008 movie The Love Guru.

Will had previously discussed what it was like to have Kanye on the Anchorman 2 set. The rapper has a reputation for being hot headed and saying what he thinks, and at the time he was working on new music.

"It was very surreal to have Kanye - who's such a big fan of comedy - in our movie hanging out for two days," Will told UK talk show host Jonathan Ross previously. "He was playing the new tracks a lot - over and over. Even when you're trying to film, he's playing the tracks.

"We got a scared 18-year-old intern to ask him to turn them down."

Woah, I did not see this coming. Nine months ago Flux Pavilion released his “Freeway EP” to critical acclaim. Besides a single for Circus Records and a remix for Skrillex, he hasn’t done much since, but being a man of his stature he’s playing sold-out shows / festival every week. He’s found some time in between a busy tour schedule to team up with fellow bass music producer Kill The Noise, and created something magnificent. Forthcoming October 10th on the remix version of the “Freeway EP”, both artists take on the title track with a melodic dubstep version. Dreamy sounscapes and mesmerising synths draw you in whilst vintage percussion gives this remix a unique feel. Flux’s vocals are angelic and roll smoothly over the top notch instrumental, leaving us breathless as we listen. We usually expect an all-out ear assault when listening to KTN, but everyone has to turn down sometimes. All I ask of you is to hit play and relax…
