Cars : Rimac Concept_One

The Rimac Concept One (also styled Concept_One) is a two-seat high-performance electric sports car designed and manufactured by Rimac Automobili. With a total output of 1,088 hp, an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, and a price of US$980,000, Concept One has been described as the world's first electric supercar and the world's fastest accelerating electric automobile as of 2013. In development since 2009, the company expects the car to go into production in 2014. To advertise both Rimac Automobili and Formula E, the Concept One will be used as the official zero-emission race director's car during Formula E events.

Rimac Automobili, an automobile manufacturing company established in 2009 in Zagreb, Croatia, grew out of its founder Mate Rimac's garage hobby. The company's primary objective was to build an electric supercar, starting, as Rimac put it, "with a blank sheet of paper". Since electric systems for high-performance electric cars were not available on the market, Rimac developed the necessary parts and patented 24 innovations.

When Rimac's 1984 BMW E30 blew its internal combustion engine during one of its races, he made it the company's first test mule, fitting it with a 600 hp electric powertrain. This car, called the "Green Monster", set five Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA)-sanctioned acceleration records in April 2011. This attracted the attention of the media and potential investors. He also created several more E30 electric model to sell, and after some success, went on to create his own car.

Concept One is set to cost US$980,000 once the serial production starts in 2013. A limited set of 88 units will be offered. The Concept One has been tested and still needs some adjustments, and a new body will be developed for production.

The car was introduced on the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, and also shown at the 2012 Paris Concours d'Elegance, where it received positive results.

The first car was delivered to an unnamed Spanish customer in January 2013.

With a total output of 811 kW (1,088 hp) and 1,600 N·m (1,200 lbf·ft) of torque, the Concept One will accelerate from 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) in 2.8 seconds and will have an electronically limited top speed of 304 km/h (189 mph). Each wheel is powered by a separate liquid-cooled permanent magnet electric motor and controlled by the so-called "All Wheel Torque Vectoring System" that distributes the power to the wheels in accordance with user setup and driving conditions. Also, the car has the ability to switch the power from front-wheel to rear-wheel drive, the first car with that ability.

The motors are powered by a 91 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, giving the car a range of 500 km (310 mi) per charge. The car's body is made of carbon fiber The interior features custom leatherwork and hand-made dashboard components.

Pearls : Talib Kweli

"Ain't nobody making music to not be heard and the easiest way to be heard is to be on the radio, but you should never compromise who you are, your values or your morals." - Talib Kweli

Who Is Talib Kweli?
Talib Kweli Greene (October 3, 1975) is an American rapper who performs under the name Talib Kweli. His first name in Arabic means "student" or "seeker" (طالب); his middle name in Swahili means "true". Kweli gained prominent recognition through Black Star, a collaboration with fellow MC Mos Def.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Kweli grew up in a highly educated household in Park Slope. His mother, Brenda Greene, is an English professor at Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York and his father an administrator at Adelphi University. His younger brother, Jamal Greene, is a professor of Constitutional Law at Columbia Law School, a graduate of Yale Law School, and former clerk to Justice John Paul Stevens on the Supreme Court. As a youth, he was drawn to Afrocentric rappers, such as De La Soul and other members of the Native Tongues Posse whom he had met in high school. Talib Kweli was a student at Cheshire Academy, a boarding school in Connecticut. He was also a student at Brooklyn Technical High School, before being academically dismissed. He later studied experimental theater at New York University.

Kweli made his underground debut in 1995, with featured five appearances on Doom, an album by Cincinnati, Ohio group Mood (Main Flow, Donte, Jahson). In Cincinnati, Kweli also met DJ Hi-Tek and the two collaborated on a few well received underground recordings as Reflection Eternal, including "Fortified Live" (1997), and "B-Boy Document 99/Chaos" (1999, featuring The High & Mighty). Shortly afterwards, upon returning to New York, he reconnected with Mos Def and formed Black Star. Kweli brought along Hi-Tek to produce their only album, 1998's Mos Def and Talib Kweli Are Black Star. The album, released amidst a late '90s renaissance of conscious, Afrocentric hip hop, was immediately hailed by critics and achieved modest mainstream success. When Kweli and Mos Def parted ways shortly thereafter, Kweli and Hi-Tek continued their Reflection Eternal partnership on the 2000 album Train of Thought, which was likewise met with critical acclaim, but modest sales.(Read More)

News : Kid Cudi Allegedly Raged At OutKast Festival

News : Kid Cudi Allegedly Raged At OutKast Festival

OutKast's marathon reunion tour still has to roll on through a couple of music festivals in the coming weeks, but this past weekend, an Atlanta fest dubbed #ATLast served as a landmark event in the duo's comeback. Reports from the event suggested that spirits were high, as one might expect for a high-profile homecoming show, but it seems that at least one attendant wasn't sharing in the celebratory vibe. According to the NME, Kid Cudi wasn't too happy with a disinterested crowd, but rather than take the opportunity to try and win over new fans, he sarcastically berated the attendees.

After starting the show by saying that he "[knew] who [the fans] came here to see tonight," he later backhandedly thanked his "five fans" who were at the show. He also reportedly told the audience to "suck [his] d*ck." Firsthand accounts suggest that Cudi cut off his David Guetta team-up "Memories" in favor of playing his hit "Pursuit of Happiness" and getting off the stage. While it's unclear what actually motivated his departure from the stage and general ill demeanor, you can read a full version of the events at Reddit.

On a more upbeat note, Erykah Badu made a brief appearance during OutKast's headlining set for a performance of Stankonia's "Humble Mumble." You can catch video of that below, and be sure to note the heartwarming moment where Badu points over at André 3000 and says, "That's my baby's daddy."

Video : Maroon 5 : Animals

Video : Maroon 5 : Animals

The guys from Maroon 5 have certainly switched up their image for the V era — at least, visually. Their “Maps” video told the story of a fatal car crash in reverse and the just-released clip for new single “Animals” plays like a mini-horror movie. Adam Levine stars as a creepy butcher with a bad habit of stalking female customers including real-life wife Behati Prinsloo.

He follows her around town, takes photos of the blond bombshell in her apartment and then, disturbingly, strips off and hangs out in a meat truck. But wait, there’s more! The couple eventually hook up and have surprisingly explicit sex (don’t be surprised if this is removed from YouTube) while covered in blood. I think it’s a dream sequence but it’s still creepy as fuck. Watch Maroon 5′s horror opus up top.

Singles : Djemba Djemba : Macking In The Car

Listen To : Seven Lions : Worlds Apart

Who Is Djemba Djemba?
Djemba Djemba is music born from a state of permanent contradiction, held together by one underlying and adaptive principle: rhythm. Experimenting with polyrhythms, 90’s FM synths, and the all-important 808 Kick, Djemba Djemba crafts a sound that is both intelligent as it is brain numbing.

It’s easy to detect the influence of UK Bass music currently dominating clubs, yet at the same time feel altogether new, and in stride with the response taking place in New York, Chicago, Boston, and his home in Los Angeles.

With releases on Mad Decent, his own imprint Rabbit Records, and Beat Team Supreme, Djemba’s music has been supported by the likes of Diplo, The Gaslamp Killer, Rusko, Baauer, Obey City, Major Lazer, Paul Devro, and BBC Radio 1. With exciting collaborations in the works with some of the biggest names in EDM, and his finger on the pulse of the latest dance music via his co-club night The Melt, Djemba Djemba certainly has a few surprises on the horizon.
