Bishop Nehru - The Nehruvian EP

Bishop Nehru drops the 8-track "Nehruvian EP" as a prelude to his new album. Later this year, NY spitter Bishop Nehru will make his official debut on Mass Appeal Records with a new album executive produced by Nas, but first: a prelude. Today he drops off an EP to gear us up for the LP, so stream and download The Nehruvian below.

Featuring the previously-released tracks "Harmony In A Glass" and "Breath (Prana $pirit)," this 8-track offering is described by Nehru as "Some old, some new. Just too raw sonically for the album & I wanted to put more music out." With cosigns from both Nas and MF DOOM at the young age of 18, Nehru's obviously doing something right.

Let us know what you think in the comments, and watch Nehru's "On The Come Up" episode below.

Gear : Shoes : Nike Air Pegasus '83 Woven

Nike likes to test the waters with an innovative design before applying it to a ton of their sneakers. That’s the case with this woven style, which first appeared on a pair of 1989 Pegasus sneakers last year, and is now being applied to the Air Pegasus ’83. Available in gray or black, the running sneakers come complete with a predominantly woven upper with leather and suede accents. Limited stores have the sneakers now, but additional shops will stock them in the coming weeks. If you don’t want to wait, you can have them shipped from Titolo in Switzerland who has them.

News : Gucci Mane Writes Fans A Letter From Prison

News : Gucci Mane Writes Fans A Letter From Prison

Gucci Mane has no regrets as he sits in prison. After being arrested on Sept. 14, 2013, for a number of charges including carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct and marijuana possession, the hip-hop star has been cleaning up his act while behind bars for nearly two years. He opens up about his trials and tribulations in a new letter he penned while incarcerated.

Shortly before the 10-year anniversary of his debut LP, Trap House, on May 24, Guwop reflects on his life and some of the struggles he’s faced along the way. XXL shares the personal letter with the world. You can read his full unedited message below.

I dropped my 1st album Traphouse ten years ago May 2005 I remember being proud and angry the day it was released. I was proud of the work I put in and the quality of the project but I was angry that someone had to be killed over a dispute about the rights to some of the contents of the album. 10 years later I reflect on how that day impacted my life and my legacy and I am grateful for all the fans that supported me then and still support me now. Every challenge and obstacle in my life has helped me to become who I am today and provided me with the tests to display my resilience. I hope my life showed someone somewhere that if you endure the storm you will eventually get your chance to shine. I never give up and I have grown and learned so much and still am eager to learn more. I look forward to showing the world how much I have grown and getting out and helping my community. I have been blessed with the opportunity to be a recording artist and help others get their chance to be heard. To my fans I love you all and I want you all to know I am motivated and will not let my past decide my future. I chose to not focus my attention on my negativities but on my dreams. I will keep on hurdling and keep on hustling. My liabilties I turn to assets and even my inconsistincies make me the unique person I am. I am focused and I will be returning soon very soon so get ready. If I had to change anything in the last 10 years I would not change one thing. Sincerely Guwop!
its Guccciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! —Gucci Mane

This isn’t the first time Gucci Mane has written an open letter to fans while in prison. Last year, he crafted another missive detailing his plans to stay sober as well as new material he was working on.

He’s been staying busy despite being locked up. In March, he released three new projects: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Following those albums, news arrived that he’s collaborating with Diplo on a new LP, proving that even prison can’t stop him from making music.

Videos : Rae Sremmurd : This Could Be Us

Rae Sremmurd brings SremmLife to South Africa in the video for “This Could Be Us,” the latest single off their debut. In the clip, Swae Lee deals with a long distance relationship with singer Jasmine V playing his girlfriend. She breaks up with him over FaceTime while he’s in Johannesburg, but he doesn’t seem to mind because he’s living the life, taking selfies with wild animals while on safari and partying with girls in the club. DeJ Loaf also makes a cameo as Slim Jimmy’s girlfriend.

Singles : Omarion : Post To Be RMX ft. Dej Loaf, Trey Songz, Ty Dolla $ign & Rick Ross

Singles : Omarion : Post To Be RMX ft. Dej Loaf, Trey Songz, Ty Dolla $ign & Rick Ross

Listen To : Omarion : Post To Be RMX

Omarion has comfortably enjoyed the wave brought about by last year’s “Post To Be” jam largely thanks to the catchy DJ Mustard production and Jhené Aiko’s raunchy “eat the booty like groceries” line.

To reignite the buzz, Mr. O smartly called up on the services of the other heavy hitters in the R&B world not featured on the original version.

Dej Loaf attempts to top Aiko’s sexualized romp while dropping clues for those still inquiring about favorite side of the track with the lyrics, “If yo n****a coming close to me/I’ma make him eat this p****y like appropiately/Like…hmmmm…Cheerios Lala/Put that Foxy Brown in his face, Ill Na Na.”

Later on in the record, Trey Songz and Ty Dolla $ign want to do best, and that’s banging your proverbial girl while you’re out playing XBox and Omarion’s MMG bawse Rick Ross puts the finishing touches on the track with one of his traditional flow.
