Gadgets : Snappie Selfie Remote

Mobile phone cameras have turned us all into a shameless bunch of vain, self-portrait taking wretches. But there's nothing wrong with loving taking pictures of yourself.

The problem is, turning your phone around and using a mirror to line up your strained smiling face is not exactly practical. It usually results in about 30 unusable photos of your forearm surrounded by bathroom shelves. Don't even pretend that front-facing cameras fully eradicate these obstacles.

The solution to the perfect self-portrait is as simple as you'd expect - it's the Selfie Remote and it does exactly what you think it does. Just download the free app and it'll automatically sync to the remote, then when you've got your facial muscles under control/got yer sultry duck-face on – simply press the button to trigger the shutter.

With a wireless range of up to 3 metres, you can easily squeeze you and all your friends into the frame. The handy removable prop-up stand allows you to orient your phone either landscape or portrait and the secondary button switches between the front and back facing cameras – it's thought of everything.

Now it's just up to you to think of inventive ways to conceal the remote in all your photos.

Purchase here.

Gear : Phone Cases : Nexpaq Modular Smartphone Case

Gear : Phone Cases : Nexpaq Modular Smartphone Case

The idea of a modular smartphone has been around for years, and we’re finally getting to see these ideas come to fruition thanks to Google’s Project Ara. But when those smartphones come to select markets later this year, they may be tough to get your hands on, at least at the start. So if you want to experience what it would be like to own a Project Ara device before its official launch, you might want to head over to Kickstarter to back the nexpaq modular phone case.

Available originally for the Samsung Galaxy S5, S6 Edge and Apple iPhone 6, the nexpaq is a modular case for your smartphone that allows you to add and remove physical modules directly from the back of the case without powering down. The team behind this case has created 12 modules so far, including an extra battery, amplified speaker, LED flashlight, SD card reader, temperature and humidity gauges, hotkeys, USB flash drive, an air quality gauge, a breathalyzer, laser, backup 64GB SD card and a module to simply fill empty slots. Each nexpaq case also features 1000mAh of additional battery capacity, which powers all of the modules.

The cases are fully compatible with both Android offerings and the iPhone 6 case, so you can swap modules between the two if you’d like. While these cases may seem a bit too bulky for some, the added functionality is certainly going to make up for the added size.

Want to get your hands on your very own nexpaq? If you take advantage of the early bird deal, each case with four modules will run you $89. After that, the cases jump up to their normal price of $109. The Kickstarter campaign is going on until May 30th, and the company has already raised $15,000 of its $50,000 goal. Head to the source link below if you’d like some more information.

Cosmo Lava Lounge Review By Julien S.: Atlanta, GA
"I'm not a club kinda girl. However, I seem to end up here for any of the party holidays such as Halloween or NYE.

Booze:
They have full selection of booze. They don't skimp on the pour.

Service:
Bartenders are fast and nice.

Scene:
Diverse crowd. They play good music. Not elbow to elbow crowded.

This place is tons better than Opera in my opinion. So since this is right by my house I will be back - NYE"

News : Madonna Speaks On Drake Coachella Makeout

News : Madonna Speaks On Drake Coachella Makeout

When Drake performed at Coachella and brought out Madonna, no one expected them to make out. On top of that, no one expected his immediate, disgusted reaction afterwards. Even though he tried to come up with an explanation for the face he made, most people didn't buy it. Madonna was one of those people. She recently answered some questions from her fans, including if Drake was a good kisser. Her reaction? "I kissed a girl and I liked it." She later responds to a question about giving her younger self advice with "Don’t kiss Drake no matter how many times he begs you to." Who knows if this will effect the supposed collaboration between Madonna and Drake.

Listen To : Vanic x K.Flay : Cops

This isn’t the first time that BC’s Vanic and SF’s K.Flay have collaborated and here’s to hoping that it won’t be the very last. Whether it was ‘Make Me Fade’ or Can’t Sleep’ every time the two of them have put their heads together we’ve been blessed with some dope tracks. As it should be in good collaborations both artists hold their own: Vanic with a smooth (almost to the point of hypnotic) trap beat and K.Flay’s amazing voice as she weaves in between singing and rapping.

Videos : Joy Williams : Woman

Videos : Joy Williams : Woman

Joy Williams shared the visual for "Woman (Oh Mama)" on Thursday morning. The song serves as the lead single off her upcoming solo record VENUS, set to be released sometime this summer.

I've been following Joy since her self-titled Christian debut back in 2001 but I've never seen her quite like this (and not just because the girl is naked half of the video). I've always compared Joy's voice to a whisper but this song is a straight anthem. We really get to hear the strength in her voice . I can only hope that this is just a taste of what her upcoming record has to offer.

"The entire song is what it's like to experience the beauty, the spark and strength of what it is to be inside your skin," Williams said of the single. "It's a song with energy and fire. I wanted to own the complexity and the three-dimensional aspect of what it is to be a wogman. 'I am a universe wrapped in skin'- that's one of my favorite lines from the new album. I'm excited about being a woman. I'm excited to be where I am now, who I am now."
