Videos : Christina Aguilera : Let There Be Love

This one is for the fans.

Christina Aguilera released a very special music video for her song "Let There Be Love."

Hey everybody. Christina here," she said in a very heartfelt message at the start of the clip

"Just thanking you guys so much for filling my life and my heart with so much love...I appreciate all your support. This one's just for you."

In the adorable series set to the upbeat jam, friends and family of "The Voice" coach can be seen in home videos including son Max, boyfriend Matthew Rutler and friend Nicole Richie.

Many signs expressing positivity are flashed during the clip reading "Equality," "Don't Judge," "Racism Sucks," "Respect," and "No Hate" while people flash the letter 'L" with their hands for "love."

Aguilera, 32, looks happier and healthier than ever as she bops around smiling ear-to-ear in swimsuits showing off her trimmed-own figure.

The release of this video comes shortly after the blond beauty wrote a letter to her fans thanking them for supporting her over her many years in the music industry.

"Thank you for listening to my words. Opening your hearts. Giving back love. Seeing beneath the surface. Searching for the truth. Digging deep. Within yourselves & within your minds. Feeling and sharing with me your own stories, your own life struggles...," she wrote.

"You're my inspiration and a constant reminder why I continue to give my very best and open up my heart and mind so vulnerably to you and with the best of intentions."

Interviews : Sean Garrett Announces Miley Cyrus & Britney Spears Collaboration, Talks New Single "Anytime"

Hitmaker Sean Garrett's pen has touched the tracklists of everyone from Beyonce Knowles to Nicki Minaj but his latest collaboration includes controversial darling Miley Cyrus on her forthcoming effort Bangerz. While walking the red carpet at the 2013 BMI R&B/ Hip-Hop Awards Thursday night (August 22), the singer/songwriter spilled the details about her collaboration with Britney Spears.

"It's fun, exciting [music]. We got one with that Britney," he tells VIBE. It should come as no surprise that the two pop divas are tag teaming given their playful banter on Twitter, where Brit even asked the star formerly known as Hannah Montana for some help with her dancing.

"Loving your new video for #WeCantStop @MileyCyrus! Maybe you can teach me how to twerk sometime LOL ;) xo," Spears tweeted to Cyrus in June.

When asked if Garrett hooked Miley up with the feature given his previous work with the "Baby One More Time" singer on "Toy Soldier" from her 2007 effort Blackout, he said it was "collective."

"Shoutout to my man Mike Will [Made It] but Mike Will, Miley and me just got in the studio and wanted to make it the biggest record possible," he says. "It's just a pleasure to be working with some icons like that."

Videos : The Saturdays : Disco Love

They were recently spotted filming the video for latest single Disco Love on the distinctly unglamorous Blackheath Common.

But as the title might suggest, it takes us back to the halcyon days of seventies glam in all its platform-heeled pomp before giving us a potted history of British nightlife.

Kicking off in 1979, we find the band in a tricky predicament after their blue and white camper van breaks down

Listen To FTSE : Lost In Translation

Ever since we first caught wind of him at the beginning of the year with “Float,” British producer FTSE has been combining warm, rich bass textures with delicate vocals across a number of impressive tracks. Alongside originals like “Float” and “Tidal Wave,” his remixes have been on point too, and now his new EP, FTSE 2, is set to raise things further. The four-track effort is excellent, and “Lost In Translation,” an ode to that bleary, mind-melting, it’s-7am-and-I-haven’t-slept-haze, shows off the producer’s delicacy, with hushed vocals from FEMME and FTSE and floating over sparkling production.

Listen to the song above and look out for FTSE’s EP on September 30.

Videos : Jay-Z ft. Justin Timberlake : Holy Grail

Jay Z and Justin Timberlake made social media history.

The mega-music star's video for their hit track "Holy Grail" premiered on Facebook Thursday marking it the first time a clip from major artists debuted strictly on the site.

In the premiere, where Timberlake and Jay can be seen getting in touch with their artsy side in a dark mansion, streamed through Facebook's proprietary video player with a 24-hour exclusivity before YouTube or any other video provider before noon on Friday.

"What we're doing with Jay Z today is really exciting and we think emblematic of the evolution fo music and how musicians can connect with their fans," Nick Grudin, head of content partnerships for Facebook said in a statement.

"What we're doing with Jay Z today is really exciting and we think emblematic of the evolution fo music and how musicians can connect with their fans," Nick Grudin, head of content partnerships for Facebook, said about the video's premiere.

"And we think that is particularly evident in Jay Z's approach here, which will really allow him to go direct to a massive and instant global audience. It's something that only Facebook I think can really deliver in this way, given the scale of the audiences musicians have and the global nature of those audiences and the social dynamics of what happens when they engage on Facebook."

Timberlake, 32, and the 43-year-old rapper combined have over 42 million Facebook fans making their social media reach of the video for the very popular ballad off Jay's album, "Magna Carta Holy Grail," quite remarkable.

However, the choice of where to debut it comes as a bit of a shock as Timberlake recently took ownership in MySpace, which is a Facebook direct competitor.

With some help from the “Suit & Tie” singer, the website has come back to life to increase a musical presence.

Cars : 2014 Jaguar F-Type

Cars : 2014 Jaguar F-Type

To rouse its sports-car soul from a 40-year nap, Jaguar set its sights on Porsche’s 911 Carrera cabriolet, the crown prince of roadster speed and agility. With the 911 playing Draco in this pageant, Jaguar’s Harry Potter dare not be a pussyfoot.

It’s not. The F-type revealed its cunning on the Navarra Circuit in Spain and while attacking the Pyrenean foothills. After living with the comeback cat for a couple of days, we are certain this is not the reprise of your uncle’s vintage sports car or an abridged version of the Jaguar cruisers battling the luxury German juggernaut. Rather, the F-type is a feline bred with a wild streak and a feral yearning to meet or beat Porsche’s best moves.

F Stands for Feral
Aesthetically, the F bears no family resemblance to Jaguar’s last great sports car, the E-type, allegedly endorsed by Enzo Ferrari as the most beautiful car ever created. The 2014 F looks more like a son of the C-type, the Jaguar racer that won LeMans in 1953. When you top a large front-mounted vee engine with a supercharger and intercooler, then add a layer of pedestrian protection, the result is chunky proportions. The high hood and beltline make the F-type look like it’s wearing a turtleneck.

The cockpit respects both trendy and traditional design views. A touch screen flanked by eight buttons provides a full menu of navigation, car setup, and communication and entertainment programs. Substantial knobs and toggles operate the climate-control system. The polished and painted metal and the double-stitched yard goods that line the F-type are tastefully finished. Seats pirated from the XKR-S hug you in all the right places.

No Pussyfooting Around
Soothing ride motions and polite manners, two traditional Jaguar virtues, are absent here. The F-type’s suspension is so taut and the body structure so rigid that every misaligned grain of pavement sends notice to the cabin, making this the roughest-riding Jaguar ever and a roadster ready for track day. There is no roll in the bends, no brake dive, and not a hint of squat during a full-bore leap forward. Jaguar’s earnest intention is confirmed by the lack of Comfort or Normal settings for the F’s adaptive dampers. This Porsche in a cat suit pounces on apexes and keeps all paws planted.

Jag engineers resisted the move to electrically assisted power steering, instilling the F-type’s fat-rimmed, leather-wrapped wheel with a slack-free, on-center connection, a useful rise in effort with increasing lock, and a ratio quick enough to deliver agile cornering response. Unfortunately, they neglected to finish the job with feedback. When the front end begins to slide at the adhesion limit, word of what’s going on at the tire patches arrives through the seat and to your ears, but no such message is telegraphed via the steering wheel.

Feeding the Kitty
The F is endowed with more than enough firepower to fight any sports-car adversary in the $60,000-to-$100,000 range. The three available engines share core technology—DOHC variable-timing valvetrains, direct injection, Eaton supercharging, and charge-to-liquid intercooling. Ample torque is readily available from a couple thousand rpm, so the slightest right-toe twitch delivers serious thrust. The two 3.0-liter V-6s excel at raising a ruckus, especially in the active exhaust’s muffler-bypass mode. Upshifts rip with flatulence, and on overrun, their pipes snort like a berserk popcorn machine. The 495-hp, 5.0-liter V-8 goes about its business with more growl and less fuss.

The $12,000 step between the base F-type and S model buys you 40 additional horsepower from the V-6 (achieved strictly through software), a slightly elevated fuel-cutoff rpm, and appropriate chassis upgrades: 19- instead of 18-inch wheels and tires, adaptive dampers, larger brakes, and a limited-slip differential. Spending the next $11,000 for the V-8 buys a seriously wild 495 horsepower, 20-inch wheels and tires, larger brakes, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, and four pipes trumpeting the rumble. Without resorting to carbon-ceramic rotors or opposed-piston calipers, Jag engineers programmed the brakes to provide mush-free initial bite and deceleration almost perfectly proportional to pressure. You can trail-brake like a pro from your first test drive.

The base F delivers more than enough thrills for most folks. The V-6 S’s extra power is only noticeable at the top of the rev range, although the chassis upgrades should be considered mandatory for anyone with track-day intentions. The V-8 S is the predator lion of the F breed, always on the prowl for unsuspecting prey.
Shifting Priorities
Jaguar committed one serious tactical error with the F-type—saving a clutch pedal and stick shift for some unspecified future release. In compensation, extra effort was invested in making the eight-speed ZF automatic a truly willing friend in speed. Interestingly, for the new F-type, Jaguar has ditched the rotating-knob gear selector used in the latest XJ and XK models in favor of a BMW-style electronic PRND shift lever with fore-and-aft, toggle-switch-like moves. It’s the centerpiece of a cockpit designed with simplicity and functionality as the only priorities. During hard driving, the gear in use is prominently displayed between the tach and speedometer, and a ratio change can be ordered through the steering-wheel paddles or by sliding the shifter to the left into the manual gate for tap-up, tap-down gear control. A detent switch below the accelerator can be mashed to command a multiple-gear downshift for passing spurts. To avoid an upshift with the revs crowding the redline, you press the pedal to, but not through, that detent. Snappy upshifts are glazed over by brief reductions in engine torque. Bottom line: A stick is always our preference, but enthusiasts should find the F’s perfectly executed gearchanges entirely satisfying. One gripe: We wish Jaguar had spent a few extra bucks to upgrade the shift paddles from molded plastic to cast metal.

Whether the F-type smites the 911 in the heart or elbow will be revealed by the inevitable comparison test. Even so, Jaguar’s return to form will make life tougher for less-intense roadsters such as BMW’s Z4 and Mercedes-Benz’s SLK. And it makes life more interesting for sports-car fans blessed with a shopping list longer by one.

Videos : Two Door Cinema Club : Changing of the Seasons

Videos : Two Door Cinema Club : Changing of the Seasons

Who is Two Door Cinema Club?
Two Door Cinema Club are a Northern Irish indie rock band from Bangor and Donaghadee, County Down, formed in 2007. The band consists of Alex Trimble (vocals, rhythm guitar, beats, synths) Sam Halliday (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Kevin Baird (bass, backing vocals).

The band's debut album, Tourist History, was released on 1 March 2010 by French independent record label Kitsuné Music. In the United States, where the band are signed to Glassnote Records, the album was released on 27 April 2010. Tourist History was selected for the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year (2010) the following year.

The band's second album Beacon was released on 3 September 2012 and debuted at number one on the Irish Albums Chart.

Trimble and Halliday first met while attending Bangor Grammar School; the pair later met Baird while he was flirting with girls who were known to his future bandmates. The three first performed as a band at the age of 16 on ATL Rock School under the name Life Without Rory; the band finished in last place. Life Without Rory recorded three demos before disbanding, two of which are still on the band's inactive MySpace page, while the third ("You Missed the Point") can be viewed on YouTube.

Trimble, Halliday and a Bardo formed another band shortly after the demise of their first musical project; on this occasion, a permanent drummer was not included. The new band's name was taken from Halliday's mispronunciation of the name of the local cinema, the Tudor Cinema; in 2007, Two Door Cinema Club were formed. Following an increased interest in the band's social network page, the three members forewent their university places and commenced work on studio material.

An EP entitled Four Words to Stand On was released in January 2009 and received attention on a number of websites. The EP was self recorded and produced and was mixed and mastered by Ryan Mitchell.

In July 2009, Two Door Cinema Club began recording its debut album at Eastcote Studios in London, with Eliot James. In September 2009, the band began mixing the record with Phillipe Zdar at Motorbass, Zdar's studio in Paris.

In January 2010, Two Door Cinema Club announced the track listing and details of the band's debut album in an interview with NME. The album, entitled Tourist History, was released on 26 February 2010 in the Republic of Ireland, 1 March 2010 in the United Kingdom and 27 April 2010 in the U.S. The album was also preceded by the singles "Something Good Can Work", "I Can Talk" and "Undercover Martyn".

On 18 January 2011, Two Door Cinema Club appeared on the American late-night talk show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, performing the song, "What You Know".

In April 2012, the band's official account revealed that a second album was near completion. On 20 June 2012, the band announced Beacon as the title of their second studio album, along with a release date of 3 September 2012 in the UK and 4 September elsewhere. Jacknife Lee, responsible for producing artists such as U2, R.E.M., Snow Patrol and Bloc Party, produced the album.

On 19 July 2012, "Sleep Alone" was selected as the lead single from Beacon and a "Sleep Alone" SoundCloud player was embedded on the NME site, allowing readers to listen to the single on 19 July 2012; however, the single was not officially released until 21 July. The accompanying music video for the single was uploaded to the band's YouTube channel on 8 August.

In early October 2012, it was announced that the second single to be released from Beacon was to be "Sun"; which was released on 18 November. The video for "Sun" had made its debut on the band's YouTube channel on 11 October 2012.

Following the release of Beacon, the band released a four-part tour documentary entitled What We See. Filmed by Gregg Houston from Babysweet Sessions, a company that is friends with the band, the documentary accompanies the band members as they undertake a 2012 European summer tour prior to the release of the sophomore album. Bassist Baird explained, in relation to the film: "Our good friends at Babysweet followed us around for a few weeks so our fans could get an idea of what life is really like for us on the road. Take a peek inside our average day."

Two Door Cinema Club announced in December 2012 that they will be playing at the Scottish music festival, T in the Park 2013 in July 2013.

In an interview with the BBC on 15 July, Trimble stated that the band had started work on their third studio album. He also mentioned that the band was aiming to release the album by early 2015. Trimble also announced that the band had left Kitsuné and signed with former EMI subsidiary Parlophone Records. On 8 August 2013, the band announced that a new EP entitled Changing of the Seasons was to be released. Along with the news came a 30 second clip of the title track, which was set for release on 20 August and is the first single taken from the EP. On 15 August, BBC Radio 1 premiered the single.

Danish ElectroPop enigma Karen Marie Ørsted, better know as MØ, has got together with Bass superstar Diplo for her new single, XXX 88. The track is due for a proper release in October as part of her forthcoming brand new EP. We wouldn’t have immediately put MØ’s moody SynthPop with Diplo’s jump-up beats, but sometimes strange bedfellows work out, and in this case they really do.

MØ’s quirky vocals croon out over an interesting, and pleasing, mixture of icy synths and warm beats. Diplo adds some robust horns and the odd bit of shouting to the mix, in fact the whole some revolves around the vocals and the horn hook, with intertwine together to create something genuinely compelling, all driven on by a relentless Dancehall beat. Exciting stuff!

The record features the title-track, and its brace of remixes – one of which from fellow Best Fit favourite, Brolin – as well as this sparkling, bolshy cut, ‘How Proud’. Perhaps not her hookiest tune, there’s no earwormy bass lick a la ‘No Strings’, but ‘How Proud’ still toes Chloë’s cheeky lyrical line with the youngster scathingly intoning, ‘Ooh you’re picture perfect, you’re two-dimensional,’ over oscillating waves of synth and choppy snares. Don’t even think about trying to fool this girl, she’s already onto you.

Videos : Nyzzy Nyce : Brand New (Explicit)

Videos : Nyzzy Nyce : Brand New (Explicit)

Who is Nyzzy Nyce?
Nyzzy Nyce, aka Nyzzy, stands pensively in a park on the outskirts of his hometown Fort Wayne, Indiana. He reflects, “Being an artist in a small town is definitely a tougher task. We work with what we got and we go hard for what we believe in.”

When he was twelve years old, he took up BMX racing at his step dad Gregory’s urging. Gregory lost the ability to walk when Nyzzy was still a child. He ponders, “I would always think, if he could walk again, what would he do?” He took up racing to make him proud.

It started out casually. He practiced downside tailwhips and turndowns on the half pipe at the local skate shop. Improving daily, he wanted to do more. After a year he began racing competitively in BMX events.

They called him a natural. Veterans of the scene began to bet money on him. He ascended rapidly up the charts, becoming the number one rider in his age group at fourteen. He attained sponsorships from Fort Wayne BMX and Gatorade along the way. Number one in two years. It was almost too good to be true…

And it was. He tore his ACL in the summer of 2002, two months into his stint at number one.

After a lengthy recovery, that fiery, competitive spirit that drove his ascent up the rankings parlayed into his newest interest: music. He began freestyling with friends at the lunch table. As time progressed, what began as a distraction slowly evolved into a passion.

Nyzzy worked relentlessly to perfect his craft, releasing a slew of projects along the way. All the while, he prepared himself for bigger and better things, a larger platform to take his music and his message.

The first step came in 2012, when he partnered with non-profit A Better Fort to start the ambitious, collaborative music project called the #MyCity Movement. The movement began as a means to showcase the many talented musicians and artists within the Fort Wayne community and instill a renewed sense of civic pride for residents. Later that year, he founded his own label, Hurricane Music Group.

Nyzzy’s debut album “Have A Nyce Day” is slated for release in Fall 2013. The album features Nyzzy’s laidback vocals over an eclectic array of trap-infused drums, feel good melodic synths and trunk-rattling 808s. Fans can anticipate videos for the singles “Live it up” “My City” and “Superstar” later in the year.

Nyzzy is a rare breed of an artist who combines his sensibility for social entrepreneurship, altruistic nature, and passion-fueled lyrical ability to create infectious music. He says, “I do something, I fall into it, and I don’t stop.”

Singles : Netta Brielle : It's The Weekend Ft B.o.B

Listen To Netta Brielle : It's The Weekend Ft B.o.B

Who Is Netta Brielle?
El Seven/Atlantic recording artist, Netta Brielle, is ready to make her mark in the music industry by bringing the roots of old-school R&B back to the forefront. Netta’s smooth, smoky, soul-tinged vocals capture the essence of the great singers from the early 90’s, when vocal tone and melodic harmonies were the driving force behind the music.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Netta first fell in love with entertaining at a young age when her mother, despite their modest means, would find a way to take Netta and her sisters to local music shows and events. Netta, inspired by her early exposure to the performing arts, committed to being an artist as a child. At the tender age of 6, she started rapping and began to learn to play the drums by ear, winning local talent competitions in the process.

Growing up in the Bay Area, Netta was surrounded by local independent talents, who had become mainstream like Too $hort, En Vogue, Tony Toni Tonè, and many others. Her older sister -a teen growing up during the 90’s, exposed her to the movies and music of the decade, turning Netta on to some of her biggest musical inspirations including Janet Jackson, Teena Marie, and fellow Oakland native, Sheila E. These inspirations, and her first experience listening to Mary J. Blige, prompted Netta to focus her efforts on singing.

Netta began to refine her craft, taking her artistry to the next level, when tragedy struck and she lost her younger sister to gun violence. Rather than allow the tragedy to overtake her, or to fall into the same pitfalls faced by her peers, Netta took the strength provided by her family and vowed to turn the negatives in her life into positives. She was determined to show the community and the youth that there was a better life waiting, as long as you chose to work hard enough to pursue your dreams.

Netta got her first big break when she participated in Oakland Native and Def Jam President, Shakir Stewart’s talent search "The Def Jam Mega Star Search.” After performing she was selected as the winner of the contest and began working with Shakir and his staff to find her place in the industry. Just when things started picking up, the project was placed on an indefinite hold as a result of Shakir's untimely death and Netta was forced to take her career back to the drawing board. Netta and her home-based team released the “Electric Rebel Sounds Mixtape” to introduce her new sound to the world and catch the ears of the industry. The mixtape, and word of mouth, caught the attention of Yancey Richardson, co-founder of El Seven Recordings, who brought Netta to Atlantic Records, where she was ultimately signed as an artist.

Netta has overcome many obstacles to get to where she is today. Signing to El Seven/Atlantic marks a new chapter for her, one that she is happy to share with the world. Netta will release her mixtape, “Will You Go With Me?” on July 9, 2013. “Will You Go With Me?” will feature 4 versions of classic R&B tracks, with 2 original songs, including “More To A Kiss.” The mixtape pays homage to the music and artists who played an important role in shaping who Netta has grown to be as an artist, while also giving listeners a taste of what they can expect from her forthcoming debut album.

Videos : Audrio : Dreaming Wide Awake

Videos : Audrio : Dreaming Wide Awake

When he’s not creating chart toppers for himself, Avicii is finding new talent to release through his own LE7ELS imprint. One lucky artist taken under the man’s wing is Audrio (born Alexander Adstedt), a fellow Swede and producer who shares Avicii’s appreciation for epic build-ups and a strong melodic current. His LE7ELS debut, “Dreaming Wide Awake,” is set for a September 2 release, but you can listen to an exclusive premiere here:

Unsurprisingly, it was Avicii’s manager, Ash Pournouri, who introduced the protégé to his new mentor. “My manager showed me some of Audrio's demos almost two years ago and we both got hooked right away,” Avicii (aka Tim Bergling) tells Billboard. “Some of the tracks were still rough drafts, but we could easily hear that he had great potential. Now, almost two years later, he has developed a great sense for melodies and has a very variable sound so you'll never know [what] his next track will sound like.”

“It’s a dream come true for me,” says Adstedt. “I feel very honored to have gotten so much support from him in the past year, and releasing my debut single through his label is just amazing.”

Audrio says it took one late night to create the track, though he sent the demos to Pournouri for some suggestions before it was finished.

“Finalizing the vocal part would have been hard if Ash hadn't helped me out,” Adstedt explains. “I truly feel it adds something different to the EDM scene.”

What the track unquestionably adds to is the power of the Avicii brand. Bergling, along with Pournouri, oversees the curation of the LE7ELS imprint as well as their PRMD label (Avicii’s forthcoming album “True” will be released through PRMD next month). By hand-picking fresh talent and strategically shaping their work, Bergling and Pournouri are forging a creative hub designed to have a deep impact on the global EDM scene.

Still, for Audrio, this song is simply an exciting beginning to his relationship with the Swedish superstar’s label, and a pivotal moment in his career.

“‘Dreaming Wide Awake’ has been my little baby for a long time now,” Adstedt says. “Although it wasn't necessarily about a particular experience when I wrote it, I feel that it’s become a bit of an experience in itself over the past year. It’s really grown on me, and the track itself means a lot to me.”

Who is Dawn Richard?
Dawn Angeliqué Richard, known professionally as Dawn Richard (born August 5, 1983), is an American singer-songwriter. Richard started her career after auditioning for Making the Band 3 in 2004, During this time Richard became a member of American girl band Danity Kane, from 2005 to 2009, and in 2010 joined Diddy-Dirty Money with label head Sean "Diddy" Combs and Kalenna Harper until they disbanded in 2011.

In 2011, following her departure from Bad Boy Records, Richard launched her solo career. Goldenheart was released on January 15, 2013, by Our Dawn Entertainment; the album received universal acclaim.

Richard is of African-American and Haitian descent and was born in New Orleans, Louisiana with one brother. She is currently living in Baltimore, Maryland due to being displaced after Hurricane Katrina. Music has played an influential part in her life since early childhood. Her father is Frank Richard, former lead singer and percussionist of the popular Funk/Soul band Chocolate Milk. Her mother owned a dancing school where Dawn spent much of her childhood developing her skills at choreography and singing.

Early on in her teenage life, Richard began performing with a local New Orleans group called "Realiti". Discovered as a solo artist by Kemic A. Smothers at a 2004 live performance at Tipitina's Uptown in New Orleans, Richard was soon signed under the name "Dawn Angelique" to an exclusive recording contract/development deal with Octarve Anderson, Jr. and his Atlanta independent record label, Yeah! Brother Records. Recording in Los Angeles, Atlanta and New Orleans, Richard and Yeah! Brother records, along with platinum awarded production team The NexMen, Rochad Holiday and Curtis "Sauce" Wilson, crafted a stellar studio solo album called "Been a While", featuring the single "So What" which was co-produced by NeYo. Yeah! Brother Records and its New Orleans management company, Scratch Entertainment, headed by Kemic A. Smothers, Esq., agreed after negotiations with Sean "Diddy" Combs of Bad Boy Records, to postpone release of the album while arranging an immediate release from her exclusive recording contract with Yeah! Brother Records. Although it had no releases and did not chart, the studio album "Been A While" was still good enough to secure her a spot as the opening act for Anthony Hamilton in Tallahassee, Florida. During the recording of "Been A While", she focused on touring and live performances, dance, and becoming an NBA cheerleader for the New Orleans Hornets while attending the University of New Orleans

Richard's "big break" came in 2005 when she auditioned for the MTV show Making the Band 3 in Orlando, where she was chosen to compete for a spot in Combs's future girl group. After the negotiated release from her contract with Yeah! Brother Records, she elevated her career by signing with international powerhouse Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment. She beat out numerous contestants to secure herself a spot, along with Aubrey O'Day, Aundrea Fimbres, Wanita Woodgett (now known as "D. Woods"), and Shannon Bex.

The newly formed group became Danity Kane. The idea for the name of the group came from one of Richard's drawings. An avid fan of manga, while Danity Kane was in the studio, Richard drew a female superhero which caught the attention of Combs. When asked what the character's name was, she replied, "Danity Kane." To Combs, this represented the girls of Making the Band 3. He then decided that it should be the name of the group. The name and story were first introduced during Danity Kane's Total Request Live appearance on June 14, 2006.

Richard has also remixed a song with London-based artist Cherri V, whose title is "Fast Car." The song has since become one of the most listened to songs on Cherri V's MySpace. Early 2008, a song called "Phase" was leaked onto the internet and featured Lil Wayne. Although it was buzzed as a Danity Kane track, only Richard's voice was featured on the song, which left speculation that it was a solo demo. In July 2008, two new tracks were released onto the internet, one called "Rush Love" which featured Flo Rida, and another track called "Strobe Light" (written by Mary Brown and produced by Chad Beatz (Tastemaker Music). It is still unknown if this was part of a future solo endeavor. During a MTV News break, it was stated that Richard was working on an untitled comic book. Richard's also stated in an interview that she would be releasing a soundtrack for the Danity Kane Comic Book, to be released in March 2009. Included would be the leaked track "Falls Away". On January 27, 2009, Richard confirmed to MTV News in an interview that Danity Kane had completely split up. In that same interview, she stated that she still considered herself a member of Danity Kane (along with Aundrea Fimbres), and still had hopes that each girl would be willing to work as a group again. On the April 16, 2009 episode of Making the Band, Combs revealed that he released O'Day and Woods, along with Bex, from their contracts, and would be releasing Fimbres as well. He told Richard that she will stay on the label and that if there are any future plans for a new Danity Kane, she will be the only returning member. However, on the April 23, 2009 finale of the series, Combs stated that all five original members would be returning if he ever decides to reunite the group.

In 2009, Richard began working with Bad Boy Records, writing for artist Cassie and Combs himself. Soon after Danity Kane's breakup, Richard was featured in a commercial on the opposition of California's Prop 8. Richard became a member of the Diddy-Dirty Money collective, which includes Combs and singer/songwriter Kalenna Harper. She featured in Keri Hilson's video for "The Way You Love Me" as "Money". She is the first member of Danity Kane to have released professional music under a major label after their split, with the Dirty Money album.

During 2010, Richard started working heavily on putting the finishing touches on her mixtape, The Prelude to A Tell Tale Heart. Before full mix-tape release Dawn has released a few songs, one of them being "Me Myself & Y" which she released as a promotional single on globalgrind.com. Other are "These Tears", a heavy ballad, and "Let Love In", another ballad with heavy vocal harmonies. The Mix-tape The Prelude to A Tell Tale Heart or alternate title: #ATellTaleHeart was released February 7, 2011 on her official web-site. There are 15 tracks. It called "the prelude to..." because there will be official debut studio album by Dawn Richard entitled A-Tell Tale Heart, which she is working on for past 3 years. She worked with Trendsetter (the producer) on a few tracks for that album. Celebrating the release of her mix-tape, Dawn Richard organized several club events. On February 7, 2011 at "Milan" club in Baltimore and on February 12, 2011 at PHX – "Nightclub MIXTAPE PARTY RELEASE".

Videos : Daft Punk ft. Pharrell : Lose Yourself to Dance

Let’s face it, Daft Punk were kind of (read: complete) duds at the MTV Video Music Awards last night while presenting the Best Female Video statue to Taylor Swift. Thankfully the silent duo were were accompanied on stage by their “Get Lucky” collaborators, charismatic hit-maker Pharrell Williams and legendary disco god Nile Rodgers, otherwise things would have been really awkward. (Even Tay thought they were a snooze, and barely acknowledged the limp Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo when she stepped up to the foursome.)

It wasn't all a downer as far as the Robots were concerned, though — just like in the spring with current summer smash “Get Lucky,” a truncated music video of sorts was previewed during a commercial break for “Lose Yourself To Dance,” the next single off Random Access Memories. Who knows if we’ll ever set eyes on a a full visual for the song? This one comes in at a minute long, so grab what you can get.

Watch a gold-and-sepia-toned crowd boogie down around a shiny stage featuring Thomas, Guy-Man, Pharrell and Nile above, then let us know below if you think “Lose Yourself To Dance” will get just as lucky as Daft Punk’s previous hit did on the charts.

Singles : Eminem : Berzerk

Singles : Eminem : Berzerk

Listen To Eminem : Berzerk

If Eminem was looking to get his old stroke back on his upcoming eight solo album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, he's right on target with the album's first single, "Berzerk."

Joining the likes of Jay Z and Kayne West in tapping old school hip-hop legend Rick Rubin to produce his music, Slim Shady employed the Buddha of Beats to give the song, which dropped Monday night, his signature mix of booming beats and classic rock samples.

"Now this s---'s about to kick off, this party looks wack/Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch/I'm 'bout to bloody this track up, everybody get back/
That's why my pen needs a pad cause my rhymes on the raaag/Just like I did with addiction I'm 'bout to kick it," rhymes Em over a spare, rock and roll beat enhanced by a sample of the "kick it" hook from the Beastie Boys' "Fight For Your Right (To Party)."

The song also samples Billy Squier's 1981 hit "The Stroke," which makes total sense given the Rubin connection. The former Def Jam co-founder helped Run-DMC and the Beasties blow their careers up with songs that melded rap and hard rock and "Bezerk" unquestionably has the feel of one of Rubin's 1980s classics. And, after a more somber mood on his post-rehab Relapse and Recovery albums, "Berzerk" brings Em right back to the fun-filled, loose and playful vibe of such early efforts as the original Marshall Mathers LP from 2000.

Even the placeholder video for it takes you back, as it features a brief glimpse of Slim Shady's tattooed arm reaching into frame and popping a cassette of the song into a giant boombox.

In typical Em fashion, there are also some bricks tossed at tabloid figures (Britney Spears' ex, Kevin Federline, the Kardashians and troubled NBA star Lamar Odom) and props offered to his rap brethren, including Kendrick Lamar, Birdman, Dre's old N.W.A. buddy MC Ren and Public Enemy.

On the hyped-up bridge, Em sings, "Take your shoes off, let your hair down and go berzerk all night long/Grow your beard out, just weird out and go berzerk all night long."

The rapper shocked everyone on Sunday night when he announced the release date (November 5) and title of the new album in a pair of commercials that aired
during the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. During the brief Beats by Dre commercial, Shady announced the release date and title of the new album, as well as the fact that was executive produced by Rubin and longtime mentor Dr. Dre.

It's the second piece of new music we've heard from Shady this month, coming on the heels of the more aggressive "Survival," which debuted in the trailer for the "Call of Duty: Ghosts" game.

Videos : Robin Thicke : Give It 2 U (Explicit)

Videos : Robin Thicke : Give It 2 U (Explicit)

Sexy female football players, mini monster trucks, barely-there bikinis, giant jars of caviar, a cotton candy-covered dancer and verses from Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz. Oh, and Robin Thicke taking his shirt off for a change.

Add it all up and you have VMA-nominated Thicke's latest dose of irresistible eye candy: "Give It 2 U." On the eve of his performance at Sunday's 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, Thicke sat down with MTV News' Sway Calloway to debut the clip for his second single from Blurred Lines on MTV's All Access Live Experience, sharing the story behind the video and revealing that his son is the real star.

And if you thought "Blurred Lines" was a party out of control, well, Thicke has definitely upped his game for the sequel. Imagine the sexiest halftime show ever and you'll get a flavor of what Thicke and director Diane Martel have cooked up for an encore.

It opens with a spirit squad taking the field, along with the aforementioned shirtless Thicke, flanked by a woman covered in bags of cotton candy and tiny parade floats. In addition to The Stingettes, Alabama State University's dance team, Thicke and wife Paula Patton's son, Julian Fuego, shows off his fancy dancemoves at mid-field, proving that it's definitely all in the genes.

From there you see, in quick succession: Thicke grabbing a taste of cotton candy, a naked guy dancing through the frame, giant dancing rolls of $100 bills and champagne bottles, more cheerleaders and additional mini floats with after-hours themes.

By the time 2 Chainz makes the scene, his verse unfolds in front of what the on-screen wording alerts us is a giant "Ass Float." It is, in fact, a paper mache woman's rear barely covered by a thong with two giant chains draped over it and dancing football girls accompanying Chainz as he marches toward the end zone.

Kendrick makes the scene driving a tiny monster truck, with a bikini-clad passenger holding on for dear life as he races other mini Bigfoot's across the yard markers. Considering that Thicke has revealed that cognac maker Remy Martin paid for the "Lines" video, it just makes sense that at one point Robin pours himself a bit of brown as he catches his breath after all that gridiron work.

The party winds down with Thicke sporting a white and black-striped referee-style suit and golden whistle and taking bites of giant caviar. Because, why not? All in all, pretty much what you'd expect from a guy who put the fun back into music videos with the "Lines" clip earlier this year.

The video was recently shot on a sunny football field in Los Angeles and our MTV News cameras caught Thicke during the filming, where he had high praise for director Martel.

"The thing about Diane Martel that makes it so amazing — besides just being a crazy genius — is that she combines all different parts of the world into one soup," he said. "She takes the cotton candy, she takes the beautiful football-playing girls and she mixes it all up into onebeautiful pot. So we're all very lucky to have her and excited to be working with her again."

Albums : TGT : Three Kings

Albums : TGT : Three Kings

Listen To TGT : Three Kings

Who Is TGT?
TGT is a supergroup formed in 2007 that consists of successful R&B singers Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank. The three are friends and Tyrese was best man at Ginuwine's wedding, but this represents their first collaboration. Their first song is a remix of Tank's "Please Don't Go". The trio also appears on Slim Thug's single "Let Me Grind".

In an interview, Tyrese said the group would be the "ultimate R&B fan experience. Me, Tank and Ginuwine been talking about this forever. The reason why this makes sense is that besides all of us being R&B singers, we're all good friends. Every time I see Tank, every time I see Ginuwine, we all had good energy regardless."

The trio planned the Shirts Off Tour for late 2007, with Avant as an opening act. As part of the tour, they planned to hold auditions for a fourth member of the group. The tour faced delays, however, and was anticipated for early 2008.

The group faced difficulties given that each member of the trio is signed to a different record label, and on August 21, 2008 Ginuwine announced on his MySpace blog that due to label and legal issues they will not be able to release an official TGT album at the moment.

On September 22, 2012, Tyrese reveal on his Twitter page that the group has been officially signed to Atlantic Records. They released 3 Kings on August 20, 2013 on Atlantic Records.

Three Kings Review
It’s rare that contemporaries such as Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank would put aside their individual solo successes to form a super trio like TGT. R&B’s much talked about “decline” has given rise to a rather competitive musical terrain, where solidarity is seldom embraced. But rather seeing each other as competition, the men of TGT join forces to become R&B saviors, while avoiding the trappings of hip-hop and pop influences that have deflated the quality of a genre once known for its “rhythm and blues.”

Offering classic bedroom music, TGT’s debut album 3 Kings is primarily geared toward their female listeners, providing a steamy soundtrack of pure sensuality. But the trio isn’t in the business of sugarcoating their music like many of R&B’s young contemporary artists. On the 17-track album, TGT reminds us that not only are they on their grown man status, but they’ve practically perfected the art of sex music. Long before girls were screaming the names of Chris Brown and Trey Songz, women were throwing their panties at Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank during the heights of their solo careers in the ‘90s and early 2000s.

But on 3 Kings, TGT proves that they are far more stronger in numbers. On songs like “Hurry” and the emotional ballad, “I Need,” their voices blend perfectly amid tantalizing melodies and passionately conveyed lyricism. TGT’s vocals soar on Hurry, a slow and sensual record that best displays their signature baby-making sound. There are no forced artificial efforts to sell sex, though. Like the veterans they are, TGT are naturals at approaching topics relating to the female anatomy and the art of making love (see “OMG” and “Sex Never Felt Better”).

On the album’s opening track, “Take It Wrong,” the fellas are smooth as white wine, exchanging splendid vocals on a mid-tempo production that best illustrates their bridge between the old and new school. Tyrese’s alter ego, Black-Ty, makes an appearance on the song, which is one of only two rap features (Problem) on the album, making it clear that authentic, unadulterated R&B is the project’s premiere focus.

Vocally, where in most group arrangements, one singer tends to overshadow the others, TGT has no obvious lead singer, and rightfully so. Each member brings a distinct voice and layer of soul to the group, which is what makes TGT such a gem in R&B music today. There’s no question that had the trio formed during the days when R&B male groups dominated the scene (i.e. Dru Hill, 112, Jagged Edge, etc.) TGT would have certainly given them a run for their money. The brilliance of TGT’s formation can be likened to if three of R&B’s most impressive female veterans – say Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans and Kelly Price – all came together on one album. Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank sound as if they were destined to unite, creating probably one of the most exciting unions in R&B history.

Though some may have been skeptical of their formation back when they first took a stab at it on Tank’s “Please Don’t Go (Remix),” this album reveals that TGT is as serious as a heart attack. Sure enough, this is no gimmick. The three have assumed their positions, taking up their crowns as the undisputed kings of R&B. And with music like this, who would argue otherwise? If there was ever a time when R&B was believed to be dead, TGT has certainly resurrected it…indefinitely.

Videos : Elton John : Home Again

Videos : Elton John : Home Again

Who Is Elton John?
A former student of the Royal Academy of Music in London, England, the man born Reginald Kenneth Dwight in 1947 left school and immediately began his path in the music industry. His first band, Bluesology, was formed in 1961. He would later take his stage name from the Bluesology saxophonist Elton Dean and their charismatic frontman, Long John Baldry. Elton John was introduced to Bernie Taupin in 1967 by Ray Williams at Liberty Records. Amazingly, their first compositions were conducted by mail. In 1968 they became staff songwriters for Dick James' DJM label, farming out music to budding pop stars.

Elton and Bernie's prolific nature was established early in his career. By the time Elton's self-titled breakthrough album and evergreen hit Your Song had introduced him to an international stage in 1970, they had honed their skill to such a degree that Bernie could present Elton with a lyric and he could compose to it within the hour. In the period between 1970-76, with producer Gus Dudgeon at the helm, they made an astonishing fourteen albums including Elton John, Tumbleweed Connection, Madman Across The Water, Honky Chateau, Don't Shoot Me, I'm Only The Piano Player, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Caribou and Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy. Amongst these, Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy was the first album ever to enter the Billboard Chart at Number One. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, with its string of American Number One hit singles and unbroken two month run at the top of the Billboard Top 100, became an all-time classic.

In 1974 Elton performed on John Lennon's comeback single Whatever Gets You Through The Night, and later that year was joined by Lennon onstage at New York's Madison Square Garden. This performance, always cited by Elton as one of the most memorable of his entire career, was to be John Lennon's final concert. In the late 1970s Elton's partnership with Bernie Taupin came to a temporary standstill, and he worked with other lyricists. A Single Man provided a fortuitous musical hook-up with Gary Osborne, and his 1977 sessions with Philly Soul producer Thom Bell gave him with a Number One UK hit in 2003 with Are You Ready For Love, when it was re-released due to demand from influential British DJs. This is an ongoing pattern. Elton has always been given credit from unlikely quarters. The filmmaker Cameron Crowe immortalised Tiny Dancer in Almost Famous, and then featured My Father's Gun (from the 1970 album Tumbleweed Connection) in the movie Elizabethtown. Producer Eminem sampled Elton and Bernie's 1970 composition, Indian Sunset, on Tupac's single, Ghetto Gospel, and who would forget Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman's duet of Your Song in Baz Lehrman's Moulin Rouge?

In 1980 Elton and Bernie were reunited for the album 21 At 33. The album swiftly reacquainted Elton with the Top Ten and was followed by Jump Up! with the smash single Blue Eyes and Lennon tribute Empty Garden (Hey Hey Johnny). This return to peak form continued with Too Low For Zero, the home of two of Elton's live favourites to this day, I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues and I'm Still Standing, his valedictory song to the troubles he had gone through. In 1992 in the USA, and in 1993 in the UK, Elton established the Elton John AIDS Foundation; his pioneering charity dedicated to breakthrough work on behalf of those around the world suffering from HIV and related illnesses. The next year he released the double platinum album The One.

The 1990s saw him rise to new heights. His collaboration with Tim Rice on music for Disney's The Lion King garnered not only a Best male pop Grammy but also his first Academy Award. Elton has since collaborated with Tim Rice again on the Broadway smash Aida. Billy Elliot The Musical, with music by Elton John and lyrics by Lee Hall, was launched on the London stage in 2005. It is staggeringly successful, not only with the audiences, but also with the most hard-bitten theatre critics on both side of the Atlantic.

The late 1990s were a time of personal tragedy for Elton, with the loss of his good friends, fashion designer Gianni Versace, and Diana, Princess of Wales. Only one artist can have the biggest selling single of all time, and since 1997 Elton has held that record. It occurred because of a tragic death that echoed around the world, and the millions who saw Elton's only performance of the song were touched by his struggle for composure on this saddest of occasions. Candle in the Wind 1997, Elton and Bernie's heartbreaking tribute to the late Diana, Princess of Wales, has sold well over 33,000,000 copies. In 1998 Elton received a knighthood from HM Queen Elizabeth II for "services to music and charitable services" and became Sir Elton Hercules John, CBE.

The new millennium has seen Elton at the top of his game, continuing to play frequent, sell-out concerts all over the world along with his band. In 2004 Elton and the band began a residency with The Red Piano show at the Caesars Palace Coliseum in Las Vegas, art-directed by the brilliant conceptualist, David LaChapelle. Originally booked for 75 shows over three years, The Red Piano exceeded all expectations and proved so popular with audiences that Elton completed the original commitment in only 18 months. During this time Caesars Palace extended the agreement for an additional 166 shows for a final engagement total of 241, ending in April 2009. In 2008 the DVD of The Red Piano was released worldwide in several formats.

Four decades since the 1969 release of his first album, Empty Sky, Elton John is still creating some of the finest music of his career. The 2001 album Songs From The West Coast gave him another smash hit single with I Want Love, and then in 2005 the release of the deluxe edition of Peachtree Road, including three new songs from Billy Elliot The Musical gave Elton another hit single with the Billy Elliot song Electricity. In 2002 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Royal Academy of Music. Other landmark awards include Best British Male Artist Brit Award 1991; induction into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, 1994; five Grammy Awards 1986-2000; Grammy Legend Award, 2001; Kennedy Center Honor, 2004 and 11 Ivor Novello Awards between 1973 and 2000.

In September 2005 Elton marked the 30th anniversary of the release of one of his best-loved albums, Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, with a new deluxe CD version of the album, and a series of special concerts in America where he performed most of the Captain Fantastic songs in concerts that lasted for well over three hours. In the same year Elton and Bernie Taupin collaborated on the music for Lestat, based on Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat novels. This musical opened on New York's Broadway in April 2006.

In 2006 he released the autobiographical album The Captain & The Kid, the sequel to Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy. 2007 saw the release of Rocket Man - The Definitive Hits, a single CD album or deluxe DVD which features eighteen classic hit songs. Also in 2007, for the first time ever, Elton's entire back catalogue of nearly 500 tracks (90 singles and 32 albums) became available to download legally.

The release of Rocket Man marked a huge anniversary for Elton - on March 25th, 2007, he celebrated his 60th birthday while breaking his own record with an unmatched 60th concert at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York. No other entertainer has come close to matching this record.

In November 2008 Billy Elliot the Musical opened at the Empire Theatre, Broadway and, to Elton's delight, is a resounding critical and box office hit. It received a record 10 Tony Awards in 2009, including Best Musical. Billy Elliot has also launched in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, in Chicago and has toured North America. In 2011 it will open in Toronto, Canada. In 2010 Elton and David Furnish produced the hit Broadway Musical, Next Fall.

Elton began 2009 onstage at the 02 Arena in London, where he welcomed in the New Year with a live TV broadcast of the Red Piano show. During that year he went on to play 92 public concerts - either with his band, with Billy Joel, with Ray Cooper or on his own - in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, USA, Canada, Croatia, Italy, Germany, Portugal, England, Sweden, Norway, Scotland, Ireland, Finland, Russia, France, Spain, Holland, Switzerland and Belgium. One of the year's highlights was Ray Cooper's welcome return to the stage with Elton for an amazing concert at the Royal Albert Hall in aid of the Royal Academy of Music.

During 2010 Elton toured with Billy Joel, with Ray Cooper, and with his band: Bob Birch (bass), Kim Bullard (keyboards), Davey Johnstone (guitars), John Mahon (percussion) and Nigel Olsson (drums). He also recorded a new studio album, The Union, in collaboration with Leon Russell and Bernie Taupin, and produced by T Bone Burnett. Released in October, the album was an international chart success and led to Elton and Leon Russell touring in the USA along with their bands, and musicians from The Union studio recording.

Elton remains committed to his music and to touring, becoming more, rather than less, busy as time passes. In 2011, as well as touring in Europe, Australia and North America both solo and with his band, now augmented with Croatian duo 2CELLOS, Elton returned to The Colosseum, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas with his all-new show, The Million Dollar Piano. This production, which received fantastic reviews and included a welcome return to the show for Elton's former percussionist Ray Cooper, is set to run for at least three years. In 2012 he returned to the recording studio with producer T Bone Burnett, and recorded an album, The Diving Bell, for release in 2013, and toured North, Central and South America, before heading to Europe. In July 2012 Good Morning To The Night, the unique collaboration between Elton John and Australian electronic duo, Pnau, was released. Elton's summer tour of Europe included an unforgettable appearance at The Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace.
