Videos : AFI : 17 Crimes
Have you ever run down the street with your three sexiest friends, madly tearing at each other's already half-undressed torsos until you find the perfect building project to mess up? That's the concept behind AFI's latest video for their upcoming Burials' "17 Crimes," and it's bizarre to say the least.
Atop the band's melancholic, full-throttle pop-punk jam — which has Davey Havok detailing past, present and future hearts broken — the four plucky, beautiful things crash a construction site to smash windows, make out between support beams, and spill Cheerios all over the joint. There's apparently all sorts of drama going on between the boys and girls, who alternate between screaming matches and nose-biting snuggle sessions, but they work things out enough to painfully brand each other with a heart-shaped cookie cutter by song's end.
You'll witness the impetuous youths do all sorts of kooky things in the player down below.
Burials arrives October 22 via Republic. AFI are also set to promote the LP on a North American tour this fall, and you can see the show info over here.
