Marc Anthony is set on his 3.0 journey with the launch of his “Vivir Mi Vida” world tour, where he will visit three continents and 15 countries.
“This new tour, “Vivir Mi Vida,” is extremely special because it gives me the opportunity to present songs from my first production of original music in almost 10 years,” said Anthony in a statement. “I am really excited to meet again with all my fans and look forward to sharing with them my music’s journey.”
Anthony’s 12-city stateside tour is set to kick off Friday, August 23 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Fla. He will perform songs off his new album and fan favorites.
“Vivir Mi Vida,” the singer’s first single off his new album “Marc Anthony 3.0,” recently became the longest running No. 1 salsa song for 14 consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart.
The song, released on April 26, broke a decade long wait for the 44-year-old singer’s widely anticipated original album. “Vivir Mi Vida” was produced by Marc Anthony and Sergio George, and is an adaptation of Cheb Khaled’s “C’est La Vie.”
“We’re incredibly excited to kick off this tour,” said Henry Cardenas, President/CEO of CMN, the company producing tour. “Marc Anthony fans and music fans in general couldn’t get enough of him in Latin America. It’s a riveting show. His fans are in for a treat.”
Anthony will visit several Latin American countries on his “Vivir Mi Vida” world tour including Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador. The Salsa King will perform two shows in Los Angeles, Calif., before jetting off to Puerto Rico then Latin America and finishing his tour off in Australia.
