Who is Suvi?
Singer/ songwriter SUVI announces her second single ‘Find You’, released on April 14th via Rabble Records. SUVI first burst on the scene in 2013 with her sublimely catchy and bittersweet debut ‘Bleeding For Your Love’, which garnered critical acclaim, reaching the Top 10 on the Hype Machine's Most Popular Chart.
SUVI (aka Suvi Richter) was originally born in Finland, growing up surrounded by the sparse beauty of its natural landscape. Drawing upon these feelings and childhood memories, SUVI has crafted an atmospheric, orchestral pop sound reminiscent of luminaries such as Peter Gabriel, Bjork and Woodkid. Critical to this process is her ongoing writing and production collaboration with Julius Duhs and Robin Svensk (a.k.a Bangs) whose previous credits include Miike Snow, Nervo and more.
Now based in Stockholm, 2014 will see the next chapter for SUVI with the release of her second single ’Find You’, and is also confirmed for The Great Escape Festival 2014, in Brighton UK.
