Iggy Azalea pays homage to 1995's "Clueless" in the X-directed cinematic music video for her song "Fancy" featuring UK's Charli XCX. Iggy brings forward the 20th anniversary of the cult classic film by a year giving a "Clueless" theme to the music video of her brand new (catchy) single "Fancy" off of her upcoming debut studio album "The New Classic" which arrives in stores on April 15th. X shot the video at Beverly Hills High School, the very same high school “Clueless” was filmed in almost 20 years ago. Iggy stars as Cher Horowitz and Charli XCX is her partner in (school) crime.
Ah-mazing! I loved watching every second of Iggy’s music video version of “Clueless”. Plus, she looked incredible in every look. Yeah, even in the sportswear one.
Iggy's teaming up with Charli XCX feels good and natural, I felt chemistry between the two in the music video and here's hoping this isn’t the only collaboration the two girls do throughout their careers. Oh, and “Fancy” better become a hit! It’s so good! Otherwise, I have the fear Iggy’s label is going to get so mad at her. None of her previous single releases have been true chart slayers.
