California-based rapper YG is looking to keep his star on the rise after last year’s hit “My Nigga” cracked the Billboard Top 20 and received a star-studded remix. He’ll keep climbing when his guest-heavy debut album, My Krazy Life, hits stores on March 18th. We’ve already heard the Drake-aided “Who Do You Love?”, and now the up-and-comer has shared “Really Be (Smokin N Drinkin)” featuring fellow Compton native Kendrick Lamar.

Produced by Ty Dolla $ign, the track is a glistening anthem with stuttering drum machine blasts and an understated beat that lets the two emcees take over. Lamar’s snarling, lightning-fast verse demonstrates his typical flair, while YG puts his budding penchant for inescapable hooks on display.
