Jessie J just might've stolen the summer.
The UK singer with pipes of gold blew fans away last week with her latest single "Bang Bang," a girl-power posse cut that was crafted along with hot chicks NIcki Minaj and Ariana Grande.
But the song, which quickly topped iTunes charts in the U.S. and several other countries, is just beginning its ascent. The three star singers recently linked up to shoot the video for "Bang Bang."
"It's fun, sexy, it's not intimidating," Jessie J told VIBE yesterday (Aug. 4), speaking on the young hit song's visual. She even came up with her own jig for the video, fittingly dubbed the "bang-bang dance." "I want women and men to watch [the video] and feel empowered."
The video shoot marked the first time Jessie had met both Ariana and Nicki; they commemorated the occasion with an Instagram usie.
As for Nicki, she's making thuds of her own this summer with the might of Sasquatch feet. Along with her verse on "Bang Bang," the Queens MC dropped her own party-ready track "Anaconda," from her The Pink Print album, and also guest stars on the remix to Beyonce's "Flawless." Of the latter, Jessie J definitely approves.
"It's so good," Jessie says of Bey and Nicki's first-ever collabo. "I want to go out clubbing, just to dance to that."
