News : Insane Clown Posse & Juggalos Can't Sue FBI
At the beginning of the year, the Insane Clown Posse sued the FBI for classifying their fan base as a gang.
ICP’s fans are called Juggalos. They are known for painting their faces, drinking Faygo, and for completely devoting themselves to ICP. The FBI added Juggalos to the National Gang Threat Assessment in 2011.
ICP said the gang classification is “unwarranted and unlawful” and is negatively impacting their business.
The FBI doesn’t really care about that.
The Associated Press has reported that the U.S. Justice Department is asking a judge to drop ICP’s lawsuit. They say there are no grounds to sue, and that they aren’t responsible for any problems ICP is facing as a result of the classification.
A hearing is being held to address the issue.
