Videos : Jay-Z : Jungle (Remix +Beats)

Videos : Jay-Z : Jungle (Remix +Beats)

Jay Z doesn’t make a cameo on just anyone’s song; heck, it took, like, eight years of DJ Khaled pleading and praying just for Hov to pop up on “They Don’t Love You No More”. Today, though, Jay Z makes a random appearance on the remix to “Jungle”, a collaborative track from New York alt rockers X Ambassadors and UK folk singer Jamie N Commons. For his verse, Jay weaves together rhymes ranging from religious persecution to playful references to Muhammad Ali and Training Day. He may not always make cameos, but Jay usually brings something resembling his A-game.

So, why make an appearance on a track from two unknown acts? More than simply out of the goodness of his heart, the remix is part of a new ad campaign for Beats By Dre and the World Cup. I guess billionaires, and those with the right aspirations, have a secret Batline they use to call in favors from each other?

Watch the ad above, which also features a quick cameo from Lil Wayne.
