What is PACT?
We helped jumpstart the "leather goods for digital devices" trend back in 2009. And now, after years of refinement, we're making a comeback. We may be a little late to our own party, but we think it's time to breathe some new life into this industry.
We are two designers interested in moving leather craft forward. We use innovative techniques that result in functional leather pieces that have a timeless quality yet are very much informed by technology.
About the COLLECTION
Composed of five principal pieces, this collection is focused on items you'll use everyday. Having benefitted from over five years of constant refinement, we think these are the epitome of minimalist modern leather craft.
Threadless, Glueless Construction — We use lasers to cut extremely precise patterns, and then weave, fold and finish each piece by hand. These innovative connections are strong and durable and involve only leather. No thread. No glue. No buckles, clasps, or zippers. Just premium vegetable-tanned leather and good design.
The PactMark — We're big on individuality and our minimal ethos runs deep. So we decided not to put our PACT logo on any of our pieces. Instead, each piece will be unique to you. Each one is inscribed with a discrete pattern comprised of 28 open or filled circles. The visual pattern is different for every PACT member and is yours for life. If you acquire multiple PACT pieces, they will bear only your unique mark. Some of our reward levels include the ability to even design your own PactMark. There are exactly 268,456,435 unique visual patterns possible so you are sure to find one that you'll like. If you choose not to customize your PactMark, a random one will be generated for you at the time of purchase. PactMarks will be registered and transferable.
Heirloom Quality Leather — We use only the finest quality vegetable-tanned leather from Horween and other USA tanneries. These pieces age beautifully and develop a rich natural patina. (See below for example of how the Natural leather changes with age.)
Made in the USA, Guaranteed for Life — PACT products are proudly hand-crafted in Spokane, WA and built to last. We will repair or replace any defects in materials or workmanship.
