Indeed the NRBPA’s Houston Chapter will lead the way for members to give back by hosting youth basketball clinics on both February 15 and 16. In addition, the Houston Chapter will hold a Red Carpet Gala on February 16. Prior to the Houston Chapter’s “Kids Get Fit Clinic” at Jack Yates High School (located at 3703 Sampson St, Houston, TX 77004), the NBRPA will hold a press conference to announce a nationwide youth basketball and mentoring program in conjunction with the National Police Athletic League and National Urban League. The press conference will start at 9:30 a.m. at the high school and will include the opportunity for media to interview NBRPA Legends while learning about the new 12-city touring youth program.
