About Bodega Wine Bar
Sure, we used to think Sam Malone was pretty cool, but it made us want to drive a Corvette rather than pour drinks for a living. It all started a few years agp when we were hanging out with some friends and wanted to find a casual place to grab a glass of wine. Ome with good music and a conversation-friendly atmosphere. Living room-ish. But we didn't want to go somewhere that required us to be wine experts, spend a lot of money, or even talk about wine much (if at all). We looked hard. We found nothing, So we ended up drinking some wine at a friend's house. The more we thought about it (and the more we drank), we decided we should just open a place ourselves. It still sounded like a good idea the next morning, so we decided to try and make it a reality. That is how Bodega was born. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

"Wow! This is definitely a gem.
My friends and I went Saturday night before catching Gatsby at the Arclight. Originally we were going to go to Pf Changs but the wait was too long. We situated ourselves in the back 'optical illusion room' and selected our wines. Danny our waiter was helpful with wine selection and food selection. Often times servers won't share with you what they like but this was perfect. It's nice to have someone say 'this is amazing and why.' It's helpful for a first time visit.
We all ordered reds - cab franc for my friend, I got the cab sauv naked rebel and my other friend got the petite Sarah. We basically made our own flight so we could each sample the three. I was absolutely satisfied with my naked rebel.
We ordered roasted Brussels sprouts, everything bacon flatbread pizza (the bacon flavor and smoke flavor was perfection), chicken bruschetta pizza and BBQ sliders.
Everything was excellent. This is a place I would definitely go to again. Who needs a bazillion wines to choose from. It's better to have a great glass and amazing food to complement it, and a server that knows both. Danny and the Bodega Wine bar had it all. Thanks for making our first visit there so memorable.
