Listen To : Clean Bandit : Real Love
Get ready for more Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne. After dominating the globe with "Rather Be," the winning pairing is back with another feel good tune to kick off the fall. The track premiered on tastemaker Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show today and is set to explode a la "Rather Be."
The song's introduction opts for piano over violin, ramping up gently in intensity with Jess Glynne's breathtaking vocals. Clean Bandit builds into a deep chorus, with pulsating bass backing up Jess Glynne as she sings out about feeling true love. The second verse and chorus sound like "Rather Be" outtakes, but that's not a complaint. Clean Bandit reintroduces violin at the bridge before blowing it out in the final chorus with bass, synthesizers, strings and piano. Meanwhile, Jess Glynne gives it her all, belting out to add some flourish to the chorus.
The new song comes as Clean Bandit tours the U.S. in support of their debut album, New Eyes. It also comes on the heels of Jess Glynne's debut broadcast performance here on Jimmy Kimmel live. No doubt we will be hearing more from her as she looks to expand her brand stateside.
