News : Bobbi Kristina Brown Revived After Being Found Unconscious
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has reportedly been revived after being found unconscious in her Roswell, Ga., home.
Bobbi, 21, was rushed to the hospital on Saturday (Jan. 31) after being discovered unconscious in a bathtub by her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend, according to the Roswell Police Department. Gordon and the friend gave her CPR until paramedics arrived.
"Police are on the scene of a rescue call at the home of Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Whitney Houston," Roswell Police posted on Facebook Saturday morning. "Her husband and a friend located her in a bath tub this morning and she was unresponsive. He started CPR and a police officer took over life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to the hospital. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers."
On Saturday, Lisa Holland, public information officer for the Roswell Police Department, spoke to reporters at a press conference, noting that "she is still alive and breathing."
She was taken to the hospital and is now stabilized and breathing, according to TMZ.
Billboard has reached out to the Roswell Police Department and North Fulton Hospital for additional information. No further details were available at time of publication.
Strangely enough, Houston was found dead in a bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012. Her death was caused by accidental drowning, heart disease and the effects of cocaine use. The late singer was the focus of a recent Lifetime biopic.
Bobbi, whose father is R&B singer Bobby Brown, appeared on the Lifetime reality show The Houstons: On Our Own.
In the days prior to the incident, Bobbi was active on social media, even referencing her late mother as well as her career plans on Twitter.
