News : Damaian Lillard Can Spit
NBA star Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers has proven that he's not only a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court, but also on the mic.
Two-time all-star Lillard stopped by Sway In the Morning (on SiriusXM) during NBA All-Star Weekend on Friday (Feb. 13) to show off his impressive rap skills over a classic beat to host Sway Calloway.
"I really like old-school hip-hop," Lillard told Billboard in October 2014. "Most of the time when I hear really new stuff, it's because somebody else put me on to it. I don't really go searching for a lot of new stuff, but it's a lot of up-and-coming artists that are on this soundtrack, so it'll be good to put on to some new artists, instead of being so tapped into the old-school like I am."
