Dive Bar
Step off the streets of Sacramento and into the tranquil ambiance of Dive Bar. In direct contrast to its name, Dive Bar is a haven of cool and class in the middle of one of the nation's most eclectic cities. Dive Bar's approachability and charm are dedicated to vintage good times. The huge aquarium above the bar has a beautiful live mermaid or merman making an occasional appearance, a dramatic example of a play on words.
After basking in all the glory of the large chandeliers above, let one of the plush leather high back chairs wrap around you and your party so you can enjoy a moment of serenity after a busy work day or after dinner. From serving specialty cocktails to draft beers, Dive Bar's knowledgeable staff will not discriminate.
Music format played represents the best of your personal collections played on a (first of its kind) iPod jukebox.
A typical dive bar denotes a few things in ones mind: no frills, approachable, slightly dangerous, and a leftover relic from another era. This version has refurbished brick walls, dark wood and upholstery and is a version of a bar from a different era: but with all brand new accoutrements.
Dive Bar's lighting consists of Dimmable White LED flex tape, installed on each shelf, lighting the natural brick on the walls.
The lighting systems were designed by Anthony Aristo of Lumatech Architectural.
The 7,500 gallon aquarium, system, and interior were produced by Tenji Inc.

Don't get confused now. This is Dive Bar, not A dive bar.
Stopped in here tonight for a drink before heading to dinner. The inside is beautiful. The entrance is a long room with black couches on one side, and big televisions on the other.
Once you get past the couches and t.v.'s the bar is on the right, with more t.v.s on the right. Above the bar is a gigantic fish tank. Sadly, no mermaids, but a big selection of fish.
The bar is dimly lit, with a beautiful mermaid painting on the far wall. The back bar is brightly lit with all the bottles looking beautiful. Behind us, in the midst of the t.v.'s are huge mirrors, which really make the place look larger.
I ordered a 16 oz blue moon first. Great looking beer. The glass was nice and cold, and the perfect amount of head on the top. The beer is cold and refreshing. I ordered a White Russian for my second drink. Let me just tell you "The Dude abides."
Our bartender was Jessie who was awesome. The bar was filled up and she was great and making sure everyone at the bar was helped. Chatting up with customers and making us feel welcome.
Great drinks, staff and just an overall great bar.
