Ford’s menacing new Mustang isn’t the only monster roaring out of Detroit this year as the Bowtie rolls out their latest iteration of a cult classic – the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro.
Building upon the 5th generation body, the 6th generation Camaro has shed 200 pounds while also beefing things up under the hood. While there are six different engine options to choose from, the one that caught our attention was the 6.2-liter V8, which happens to be the flagship power plant. The setup pumps out an impressive 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque, but as we previously stated, there are tamer options available as well. Customers will also be able to choose from an 8-speed automatic or a 6-speed Tremec manual transmission. Other updates include optional Magnetic Ride Control, Drive Mode selector for different terrains, and a significantly improved interior cabin.
