'Fresh Strawberries' features guest vocals from Roxanne Clifford of Veronica Falls, and was produced by Prince House Rabbit.
The release will also include new b-side 'Erdbeer Mund', which is available to listen to on the band's Soundcloud page.
Franz Ferdinand will perform at the BBC's Radio 6 Music Festival at Manchester's Victoria Warehouse on Saturday (March 1), before heading out on their own UK tour.
The tour kicks off with two shows at London's Roundhouse on March 14 and 15.
