We often hear the words “Britney Spears” and “Perfume” in the same sentence — the pop princess just released her 13th fragrance last month — but this time, we’re talking about her music: Spears posted her second Britney Jean single, “Perfume,” on her Facebook page Sunday.

Apologies to anyone expecting a scratch-and-sniff confection; “Perfume” is an angsty ballad in the vein of Spears’ “Everytime” or “Don’t Let Me Be the Last to Know.” She’s using her fragrance to mark her territory, hoping her scent lingers on her man so other ladies will keep their paws off.
