Who Is The Flight?
Their first outing as artists in their own right will be The Hangman E.P.
Hangman is a modern re-telling of the folk song Pretty Polly. This song is a murder ballard, telling of a young woman tempted away from home into a the forest where she is killed and buried in a shallow grave. The rest of the E.P. is written from the viewpoint of the murderer, from first meeting the young woman to rueful ghost after his execution.
The Flight plan to release a series of E.P.s featuring guest artists, ahead of their debut album sometime in the future...
