Who Is Funda?
Born and bred in Sheffield, is actually of Turkish origin. She attended Silverdale School gaining her academic qualifications and in her spare time she attended dance School, Tae Kwon Do, martial Arts, Trampolineing to name a few. After her A-Levels Funda achieved a placement at University to study physiotherapy, however she decided to follow her dreams and aspirations by auditioning at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy where she won a scholarship. She then moved to London where her intensive 3 year training began in acting, singing and dancing.
During her final year Funda auditioned and gained her first role as a Beauxbatton girl in Harry Potter 4 ‘The Goblet of Fire’. From there she burst into the music video scene starring as the lead roles for some of the biggest music artists such as Tinie Tempah, Calvin Harris, Kid Cudi and Basshunter. With not only acting and dancing under her belt Funda has secured major modelling campaigns for the likes of Adidas, Reebok, Nike, Lynx’s, Sweaty Betty, Urban Retreat, as well working on numerous TV commercials, fitness DVD’s and magazine covers.
Funda shot to fame in 2011 on the very popular E4 series ‘Made in Chelsea’ where she soon held one of the biggest followings from the first series. Funda is currently acting and presenting, working on TV and film projects as well as DJing.
