Who Is HAIM?
Haim is a "nu-folk–meets–nineties-R&B" pop group from Los Angeles, California formed in 2006. The band is composed of sisters, Este, Danielle and Alana Haim. The three girls grew up in the San Fernando valley playing in the family band Rockinhaim with their parents. They list this experience as crucial to the band they are today. Este graduated from UCLA in 2010. Danielle started touring with major artists (Jenny Lewis and Julian Casablancas) as soon as she graduated high school. Alana spent one year in college then dropped out to pursue the bands career with her sisters. Este is known for her uncensored stage presence and banter with the crowd; she is often being quieted by her sisters, but to no avail. Haim has been gaining interest from music bloggers and the general public. Their debut album is scheduled for release in 2013.
Haim previously played shows with well known artists such as Julian Casablancas, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Henry Clay People, Ke$ha, Mumford & Sons, and opened for Florence and the Machine on their UK and Ireland tour in December 2012. (Read More)
