About Le Batofar
While most clubs would never last more than a few years before the crowds moved on, somehow Batofar remains fresh and consistently full. The fact that it sits on a converted barge floating on the Seine must have something to do with it. On good nights you'll see hundreds of gyrating dancers moving in rhythm to house, garage (the British one), techno, and live jazz by groups that fly in from Morocco, Senegal, and Germany. Beer costs about 8.50€ a bottle, while cover runs from free to 15€, depending on the band or DJ. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm to 4am. Closed November to March.
Le Batofar Review By Gabriel M. : Paris
The batofar is great. I mean, you're on a boat, on the seine, listening to electronic/undergound music, with many different musicians that mix djs and live performance. It's advisable to come relatively early if you don't want to experience the longest queue in Paris to get in!
