News ; Maroon 5's Adam Levine Hits Out At Lady Gaga On Twitter
Lady Gaga and Maroon 5's Adam Levine have reportedly clashed on Twitter.
According to Digital Spy, The Voice USA coach seemed to have a dig at at Gaga during a series of posts on the social-networking site, although he did not address her directly.
Levine wrote: "Ugh..recycling old art for a younger generation doesn't make you an artist. It makes you an art teacher.
"I unabashedly love writing and performing pop music for both myself AND everyone around me. That's It. It doesn't need any extra sauce."
After believing Adam's tweets were aimed at her, Gaga then seemed to post a response to Levine, stating: "uh oh guys the art police is here."
Levine then appeared to retaliate, writing: "Methinks thou dost protest too much...yikes!!!
"By the way, im NOT an artist. i sing in a band and i make music with my friends."
He added: "While we're at it we should call the grammar police."
