Sky Ferreira’s Night Time, My Time was one of our favorite albums of last year, so it’s pretty exciting to find a new track by her today. Thing is though, it’s actually an old track, and one that wasn’t really supposed to see the light of day. The leaked “Rancid Girl” is a stripped-down acoustic song that features co-writing credits from Blake Mills, Jon Brion, and Cass McCombs (the latter two worked on her Ghost EP), and was even met with general positivity from Ferreira on Twitter as you can see:
