About Yalta Club
Yalta is located at the square of Sofia University which is one of the 3 centers of Sofia. This is the birthplace and the center of the clubbing culture in Bulgaria.
Yalta is the first Bulgarian night club. It opens for the first time back in 1959, and is the coolest place to be during the next 30 years of communism. And still is! After the fall of communism in 1989, Yalta was the first place in Bulgaria, where electronic music was played and the first Bulgarian club where there was a foreigner DJ. that is Chad Jackson in 1992.
In 2005 the club came back with a new look and concept. You can easily notice that everything - the furniture in Yalta, the lights, the sound system and even the incomparable view outside are part of one concept. The unique lighting at the club has a choice of 16 000 colors which assures you that you will never be at the same Yalta club twice. The technicians from Maier Sound guarantee that you won’t be able to hear sound like the one in Yalta in radius of at least 1500km from Sofia. The wild rhythm of Sofia outside the club windows contradicts to the tranquillity and minimalist comfort of the club. The result is a place in Sofia like no other.
Today some of the brightest stars of the house scene, such as Victor Calderon, Rojer Sanchez, Timo Maas, Paul Oukenfold, Hernan Cataneo are common guests behind the club’s dj decks.
