The Bucharest Grill is a is a downtown favorite for a quick lunch at a great price or for the night crowd looking for great food. Located inside the Park Bar, Bucharest is a quick walk from the ballpark and right in the center of the Foxtown nightlife.
The food ranges from traditional Romanian dishes to middle eastern cuisine and hot dogs dressed every way imaginable. Everything is handmade as it should be in a traditional kitchen with original recipes that you won't find anywhere else.

"First, I can't help but chuckle that over 40 reviews that mention the schwarma. Personally, I really love the shawarma. (cheeky grin from one bad speller to others)
That is what they're known for, and I can't argue with that. The shawarma sandwich is pretty delightful. If you are in the downtown theater district, it's certainly worth the short walk to get some garlicky goodness. I couldn't quite give it 5 stars because I'm not crazy about lettuce in a shawarma sandwich and think there are better ones to be had in the metro area. I also think their hummus is WAY salty.
The good: The service is usually pretty quick, they move a ton of people through here - so don't be too intimidated by the line. The shawarma sandwich is packed with flavor and will fill you to the brim for a great price.
Here's what you need to know - you have to order at the counter and they will deliver to your seat on the lower level of Park Bar (the space is connected and they give you a number). Or you can just place a take-out order and carry the food to your seat yourself. Then, if you can find a seat (it gets pretty busy on game days), the Park Bar is a great spot to hang out and grab a brew.
Tip: Avoid eating the shawarma sandwich before a date or if you're going to be in close proximity to other people. The garlic sticks with you!"
