About Billy Bob’s Texas
Those in the know insist a visit to Fort Worth wouldn't be complete without a heel-stomping good time at Billy Bob's Texas, the world's largest honky-tonk. Occupying some prime real-estate in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, this three-acre entertainment center is home to 40 separate bar stations, not to mention an arcade, a bull-riding ring and a Texas-sized dance floor lit by a disco ball-esque rhinestone saddle. Forget your cowboy hat? Just pick one up at the on-site Western store.

Billy Bob's Texas is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m. Live entertainment is provided most nights; famed musicians take the stage Friday and Saturday (you should purchase tickets in advance). Dance lessons are also available from Fort Worth's beloved instructor, Wendell Nelson.

Billy Bob’s Texas Review By Elisa A. : Dallas, TX
Well, I can check this place off my bucket list!  It is MASSIVE!!

When I walked in, I was a fish outta water!  It didn't help that I was dressed like Emily the Strange in a sea of cowboy hats either.

I went to see Dwight Yoakam in concert and he didn't disappoint.  I've seen him 3 other times and this was BY FAR the rowdiest crowd!  Lots of hollerin', stompin' and carryin' on.  It was awesome! I would recommend ponying up for the reserved seats though as we just had GA and standing room got a little tight at times.

I didn't buy one drink the whole night = friendly, generous folks.  I normally don't drink Coors Light either but when at Billy Bob's...    After the show, I was on the dance floor two-stepping with a dude in a starched camouflage shirt.  Good times.

Perfect place to take folks that have never been to Texas!  All of the Texan stereotypes are here.
