Who Is Eddy B & Tim Gunter?
Eddy B & Tim Gunter are a hip-hop duo from North Carolina. They met in early 2010 and began making music out of Tim's apartment. After recording a decent amount of tracks, they released their first mixtape "Dear North Carolina, Welcome Back" in October of 2010. Thanks to popular music blogs, and social networking, the mixtape spread across the internet and created quite the buzz for the duo in 2011. Since then, they have release a six track EP titled "Overseas" and another full length project called "Insomniac Dreams." The "Overseas EP" was created from start to finish while Eddy was in Germany, and Tim was in North Carolina, hence the title "Overseas." They released their second full project "Insomniac Dreams" in October 2011 which has also gained popularity on the internet.

Here we have it: the sophomore mixtape from well-loved duo Eddy B & Tim Gunter! Eddy B sounds powerful and inspired on his verses, and I really enjoyed most of the beats Tim crafted and/or tweaked. I’ve featured my favorites from the tape above, which together deliver a diverse taste of the tape straight to your Kollectin’ fingertips. These two have grown tremendously since the release of Dear North Carolina, Welcome Back, and I can’t wait to find out where this work takes them. This was the sincere collaborative effort we were looking for…Kollect on!
