Who Is Hey Sholay?
Hey Sholay are a five-piece group of musicians, filmmakers and artists from Sheffield and Leeds, who play a breed of psychedelic independent pop with a hint of the Northern Lights captured in a jam jar.

With their debut album ((O)) nearly behind them now, Hey Sholay are beginning to look ahead to new music with a new EP that’s expected to be released in the Spring, before which, they’ve released a new video for ‘Go Easy Tiger’.
They’ve collaborated once again with their friend Bobby Neissier who made the video, and their other pal Carl Hilton who’s taken the images from 2012 that comprise the video. You can check it out below, and their final single from ‘((O))’ has been announced as ‘Wishbone’, which is one of our personal favourites here.
From the psychedelic looping chords that open the track, to the soft lyrics of Liam, before it becomes an incredibly uinique piece of music. Just listening to it is like being stuck in a massive music vortex. And there’s also nothing better than getting your deepest voice out and screaming “So, don’t ever leave me” in time with Liam at the only pause in the song mid-way through too.
So if you’re looking to put a date in your new 2013 diary – and let’s face it, all of ours’ are pretty blank and yours’ is probably not much different – stick the 28th of January in there so you don’t forget when ‘Wishbone’ arrives as a single!
