Who is Wisin & Yandel?
The top-selling Latin music and concerts worldwide, Wisin & Yandel, Juan Luis Morera and Llandel Veguilla respectively, began their career together more than eleven years ago on his island of Puerto Rico within the Latin music genre, Reggaeton, which began as a fusion of Jamaican dancehall with Panamanian reggae and rhythms has evolved to include Hip Hop, Pop, Rap and R & B.

Innovative, positive and persistent. . . Wisin and Yandel, the duo has become nothing less than a phenomenon. They have revolutionized the music industry with their unique brand of Latin urban music / popular that continues to evolve with each musical production and which continue forging a musical Cerrera more than a decade filled with number one, multi-platinum certifications, concerts sold capacity and prestigious awards.

In the last six years, Wisin y Yandel have been awarded 11 platinum records in the United States and Puerto Rico, 11 platinum and eight gold records throughout Latin America.

The duo holds the record for most number one on the Billboard "Latin Rhythm Airplay" (urban Latin music) with nine songs from the beginning of the list in 2005 as well as the record for most number ones by a duo or group in Billboard list of "Latin Songs" (which includes songs from all genres of Latin music) with six songs. In 2009, they had three number ones on the U.S. Latin radio.

Wisin y Yandel have won a Grammy in 2010 for Best Latin Urban Album, "The Aliens" and two Latin Grammys: in 2008 for Best Urban Album, "The Aliens," and in 2009 for Best Urban Song for "abuse".

The musical duo has been nominated for an American Music Award for Favorite Latin Artist for two consecutive years and was the only Latin artist nominated at the MTV Video Music Awards 2009. The nomination was for Best Pop Video (for "abuse") with internationally renowned artists such as Beyonce, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga.

The latest album unreleased duet, "The Revolution" has received double platinum in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, Platinum in Mexico and Colombia and gold records in Argentina, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. The version "deluxe" album containing 5 unreleased songs, remixes and bonus content on DVD, "The Evolution" debuted at number one in November 2009 and its first single, "Thank You" remix with Enrique Iglesias arrived quickly to be the number one song on the radio Latin America and Puerto Rico.
