Born on September 4th in Rosario, Sinaloa. Currently lives in the beautiful port of Mazatlan.
At age 16, as a student of Tourism Business Administration, composed his first song, which is called I want to be a sparrow, which was never recorded.

Horacio says: "I never thought I had ability to compose, but my uncle Juan Manuel, was one of the people close to me who got the courage to venture into the world of composition."

However, remember that after receiving the cold shoulder from an artist, whom he greatly admired, was discouraged to the point of no longer wanting to continue composing and pursue other better.

But his vocation and talent prevailed, and continued to create songs. At 18 he first received a pleasant surprise: the Santa Rosa Band of Guamuchil, had recorded two songs of inspiration, our ardent love and forgive, which were successes at the regional level.

This further encouraged him to continue to seek opportunities, and carrying his keyboard everywhere sought out local bands to sing his songs, hoping to reap more recordings, which were arriving shortly, thanks to his perseverance and patience, and the unconditional support of his parents.

This journey of constant struggle that has resulted to date, Horacio has more than 200 recordings, with singers and major groups as Banda el Recodo, La Arrolladora Banda El Limon, North Hurricane, La Original Banda El Limon, Banda La Costeña, K-Paz de la Sierra, Banda Cuisillos, German Lizarraga, Throne of Mexico, Pablo Montero, Lupillo Rivera, Ak-7, and many more.

His black heart theme in the interpretation of Chavela Vargas, was included in the soundtrack of the movie Saving Private Perez directed by Beto Gómez.

One of the most important moments of his career he lived in 2010, when he was named Songwriter of the Year, thanks to several issues that have been first in Mexico and the United States simultaneously, as in the case of songs, of thee exclusive ( Success SACM 2007), and to be clear, it's too late (SACM Success 2009), Girl of my heart, I love all of you (song of the year), My snap and more.

Horacio Palencia shares the following message: "The inspiration allows me keep writing more new songs every day, offering fresh and innovative public issues that occur in couples romantic feelings; songs that many boyfriends fall in love, some are reconciled and others may bring weep for memories "
