The German tuning company MEC Design, usually known for their kits for Mercedes-Benz cars, has introduced a new styling program for the Ferrari 458 Spider.

A bespoke exterior kit is called "Scossa Rossa" and includes a three piece front lip spoiler, spoiler corners, new extended side skirts and a multi-segment rear diffuser with "underride protection." The components can be purchased separately or as a complete kit starting at 6,900 EUR ($9,600).

Matt black detailing for the front bumper wings, exhaust tips and the Ferrari badging is also offered.

Customers also have an option of ordering a variety of wheels in sizes ranging from 20- to 22-inches, with or without a sports suspension system, and a sports exhaust system that delivers an "apocalyptic" sound.

Inside, the changes are limited to a two-tone entry guard, floor mats and LED light set, alongside carbon trim for the dash, center console and the steering wheel, which is also finished in leather.
