Gear : Shoes : Air Jordan XX9

The Air Jordan XX9 was a sneaker that Russell Westbrook decided to save for the Playoffs in that first spot that introduced them. And now that the Playoffs are here, he has very much been flaunting that next up performance player shoe from Jordan Brand. On-feet for Russell during tonight’s tough series opener against the Clippers is this pair of Jordan XX9s, which features the cleaner build and that jumbo Jumpman branding. See them in more detail after the click and watch for updates here on Russ’s special Jordans through the post-season.

The Air Jordan XX9 was the sneaker on feet for Russell Westbrook while he and the Thunder threw down in that statement of a Game 7 that would send them to the next round in the 2014 NBA Playoffs. Shown here is that very shoe, one with an OKC “Home” colorway and plenty of elephant print style graphics for the flight woven performance upper. What’s interesting is that they don’t really scream “player exclusive” – the number on the back end is the standard #23 instead of Russ’s #0 and we can’t spot any name detailing. See the evidence below and remember that the Air Jordan 29 will be launching in September of 2014.
