The bar and lounge at B&O American Brasserie can be summed up in one word: Welcoming. Recently named one of the best bars by Baltimore Magazine, the bar is tasteful yet informal, with the several taps issuing an assortment of craft beers. The lounge's comfortable design lets you and your party relax, share conversation and enjoy one of our many artisan cocktails or a glass or bottle. The wine list is strong in recognized regional and American vintners, plus several European favorites. It's a wine list carefully plotted by Master Sommelier Emily Wines.

I've eaten here twice in two days. The first time I had the regular B&O cheeseburger which was so good! It will grilled to my liking, covered in yummy aoli sauce and had a bacon on top. The fries were also really good!! The second night I came to have drinks and apps with my friend. For my drink, I got the Queen Bee, a super sweet cocktail. My friend and I shared the PEI mussels and Four cheese pizza. Mussels were deliciously soaked in one of the best broths I've ever had. There was bacon and tomatoes in the broth that added a really delicious flavor. The pizza was unreal. Hard to describe how perfect it was, but it was brick-oven cooked to perfection with the perfect combination of cheeses and sauce blend. (Hence, it was just perfect.) What really sold me on this place and why B&O warrants a five-star rating was the hospitality. Thursday night I sat at the bar and was taken care of by Eric, the really friendly and fun bartender. Friday night, I was served on by Maria. She always had a smile on her face and approached us with such a happy and friendly attitude. She did very well on her drink and food suggestions. A couple of times we were also approached by the manager working. I didn't get his name, but it just goes to show how considerate the employees are. In conclusion, I would highly recommend taking a stop in here!
