Speck is pretty much synonymous with iPhone protection, and now they’re brining their case expertise to the Apple Watch. The company has just announced CandyShell Fit, which takes their award-winning, dual-layer case construction and applies it to the Apple Watch.
Because Apple Watch users won’t always need (or want) third-party protection, the CandyShell Fit has an easy-on/off design (although, when it’s on, it’s still designed to not obscure the Apple Watch’s aesthetics and functionality.
With CandyShell Fit, fitness fanatics can arm their Apple Watch with extra protection during rugged activities such as CrossFit, rock climbing, and cycling. CandyShell Fit provides full bezel protection to guard the smartwatch’s glass screen, defend against shock, and allow complete access to the digital crown and side button.
CandyShell Fit combines a hard polycarbonate shell to guard against impact and a TPU interior to absorb shock. A raised bezel rises 1.5 mm above the Apple Watch touchscreen to act as a bumper between the face and surrounding environments. CandyShell Fit has been tested against sweat, extreme temperatures, and everyday topical chemicals like sunscreen and lotions.
The $29.99 CandyShell Fit will be available later this month in a range of colors.
