Who Is George Strait?
George Strait along with special guest Martina McBride will arrive at the Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho on Saturday, January 26th for a concert during "The Cowboy Rides Away Tour" that has been announced by George Strait as his "Farewell Tour" To view tickets that are available for this concert please use this link:
George Strait and Martina McBride will once again team up for a fantastic tour. "The Cowboy Rides Away Tour" will be the last major tour for George Strait and he wants to make it a point to visit all his great fans that have supported him over the years. In his announcement of the tour he stated "This is going to be a very special, emotional tour for me. Everywhere we’re going holds fond memories and I’m looking forward to paying my respects.” George Strait will continue recording new music and performing in concerts on select dates around the country after the completion of the tour.
The Cowboy Rides Away Tour will be a two year tour, 2013 & 2014, and the first twenty dates have been announced. A Complete schedule of these Concerts has been listed at the bottom of this post. Many would give their own estimation, because many of his fans have been concerned to him and his songs for many diverse reasons. George Strait Facebook Page Some would say it is because of his voice. Others would say it is because of his exclusive musical style.
