Who Is Embers?
The Embers are an alternative rock band from the United Kingdom whose style blends elements of folk, rock, pop, and classic rock ‘n’ roll influences from both sides of the Atlantic.
The Embers have released 3 EP's and their first independent album “Love…But In Reverse” which has been played by loyal 'Embermembers' and Podcasters around the globe. This has been followed up by the album"Standing At The Corner Of My Heart" and the singles "The Long Goodbye" and "Dragons & Heroes"
Using many influences and styles, The Embers can be found performing their own acclaimed material live alongside songs by artists such as The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Kings Of Leon, Tom Petty, Foo Fighters & the Counting Crows.
The Embers are about collaboration. Song ideas come mainly from Andy & Anthony and are kicked around by the rest of the band at the end of rehearsal. Over a period of time, after repeated kicking, the song takes shape and an original Embers tune is born. This loose process explains why our songs are sometimes difficult to categorise. Rock, country folk, soul & blues all go into the pot and you never quite know what you’ve got at the end.
