On October 20th, Danish electro-pop artist Karen Marie Ørsted, a.k.a. MØ, will issue her brand new Bikini Daze EP via Chess Club/RCA Victor. We’ve already her one of its tracks, last month’s pummeling, Diplo-aided “XXX 88″. Now, she’s revealed another in the form of “Never Wanna Know”.
Here, she turns down the noise, opting instead for a more straightforward sweet and sweeping pop number about post-breakup messes and the need to block out all things ex-related. With minimal production, her vocals are a much-welcomed focus, proving that whether she’s singing alongside earth-shattering beats or a breezy sway, she knows how to use the crystal-clear vox accordingly.
