Rihanna debuted her new music video for "Pour It Up" today, and it finds her in a dark strip club where women are twerking in gold-plated water. The pop star herself shows how she can twerk too, straddling a chair in her thong and working a pole. It makes you wonder, Miley who?
The video for the latest single off Rihanna's Unapologetic album comes hours after Britney Spears released an S&M-inspired video for "Work B**ch" that has Brit cracking the whip. Between Rihanna's explicit new video, Fifty Shades of Britney, and the topless women used as props in Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," 2013's music videos have definitely pushed the envelope. And we can't forget Miley's naked wrecking-ball riding or Justin Timberlake's nude women in "Tunnel Vision." This could be the NSFW future of music videos. After all, artists worry less about getting played on MTV and more about racking up views online.
