About Dba Frenchmen Street
Looking for live music in New Orleans? Stop looking. Your night ends at D.B.A. Bar, where you can catch a live show seven nights a week. Come around when D.B.A. features a local artist you haven't heard yet, but don't expect that often--D.B.A. has had artists like Jimmy Buffett and Stevie Wonder on their stage. Of course, your night at D.B.A. won't get started until you've checked out the bar, where D.B.A. proudly displays one of the largest varieties of beer and spirits in New Orleans. Head on over to Faubourg Marigny and enjoy a night at D.B.A., where they don't close until the next morning.

Dba Frenchmen Street Review By Allyson P. : Washington, DC
This is easily the best place to see live jazz in New Orleans. They typically have a cover, but it's completely worth paying. We went on a random Saturday night, and the place was packed and the band was excellent. Not only were they brilliant musicians, but you could tell they had lots of experience performing, and really know how to get the crowd into the show. Everyone was dancing, to the extent you can in such a packed space (note, I wanted to be close to the front to be able to see; there was much more room to move if you were at the bar or towards the back of the room).

On top of being an excellent jazz menu, they also have a huge beer and booze selection. Their whiskey selection alone was ogle-worthy. If I had a complaint, it would be that during a crowded show where I was standing, I would have preferred my Manhattan not be in a martini glass. I definitely spilled a decent amount of it (sorry guy standing in front of me). That's such a minor complaint though for an otherwise fabulous evening.
