About David's Cafe
The furthest thing from a trendy spot, David's Cafe's Cuban food is good, cheap, and available 24 hours a day in case you need a jolt of Cuban coffee at, say, 4am. Enjoy supercheap breakfasts (two eggs, home fries or grits, coffee, and toast is $4.75), Cuban sandwiches (ham, pork, Swiss, pickles, and mustard), midnight arroz con pollo, fantastic cheeseburgers, a wonderful grilled-cheese sandwich, ropa vieja habanera (shredded sirloin and sauce), and pretty much anything you can think of -- even, oddly enough, brown rice. Hey, this is South Beach, what can you expect? David's also has a recently renovated second location at 1058 Collins Ave. (Read More

David's Cafe Review By Toya J. : Greenbelt, MD
David's is a must when I come to South Beach. It's a staple of the community. All the Cubans congregate here to watch World Cup and if their people are winning, I've seen them jump up and march the streets with pumped fists (yes). For Cubans in Miami, David's is what Sylvia's is to Black Folks in Harlem (Down Home Cooking). Plain and Simple.

Don't come here unless you have your 2nd Gut!

All good dishes, The Churrasco, cuban skirt steak juicy and tender with chimichurri sauce (the green stuff in oil).  Beans and rice are on point. My girlfriend is still trying to figure out how they made the coconut fried chicken breast, a special that is not offered on their traditional menu.

We hit it one more time before we headed off to the airport!
For Breakfast: Pancakes, eggs any way you want them, bacon, corn beef hash, or home fries to fatten those thighs!!!

I have to end every meal  with their Cafe Con Leche, espresso with sweet condensed milk. If you don't know you betta' ask somebody! David's is all of it!

I have yet to find a Cuban Spot in the DMV that provides my belly with such bliss!!!!! And on top of that the meals are cheap!

So when your done your Lincoln Road/Collins Ave cruisin stop on over by David's, they're open 24 hours.
