About The Bulldog Bar
The newest Bulldog location offers residents of Baton Rouge a place to sample high-quality draft beers in a comfortable and friendly environment. We offer over 80 nitrogen-pumped draft beers from around the world, including many European imports along with local crafts such as Abita and Lazy Magnolia. We also have an expanded list of unique bottled beers to complement our wide draft selection. All beers are served in a frosty mug or a room-temperature pint glass of your choice. We also offer a hefty grub menu featuring delicious selections such as Buffalo wings, cheese fries, nachos, crawfish banditos, salads and heavier fares like burgers and grilled chicken and Mahi Mahi sandwiches.
Our large, tree-lined patio provides a one-of-a-kind venue for socializing and enjoying our great grub and draft. It has large screen hi-def TVs that provide sports and special event viewing under the stars and always is filled with our great music through our rich sound system. There's no better place to enjoy a great beer on a beautiful afternoon or night. Another great feature is our dog-friendly patio so grab Sparky and head on over.
We are centrally located in the heart of Baton Rouge at the Southdown's Center with ample on-site parking for all of our patrons. Life is short so relax and grab a bite while you spend great quality time with family and friends.

"Belgian beers can be found here! I love the atmosphere especially the outdoor fountain, it gives the feel of a real bier garden! I love the friendly pup environment too! It's so great to pet and mingle with the owners since I'm from Memphis, made new friends!
You can find La Trappe Quadruple, Delirium Tremens and Nocturnum here. Triple Karmeliet too. That's all I remember at the moment.
My new fave is Crown of the Valley Strawberry Cider. Currently on tap, cold and delicious! It's crazy, but somehow it's sweeter on tap versus bottle. Get it while you can, because it doesn't last long!
Bulldog has an incredible selection of local brews on tap!! Personally, I'm holding out for a ZooBrew or any massive beer tasting event to take place. I'm not familiar with the local breweries since I'm from Memphis, and a tasting will be the economical way to learn.

Also, don't leave without eating the cheesy Amber Fries!! A great pub in my opinion carries fries with ranch dressing. And Bulldog exceeds expectations with their huge serving of waffle-shaped fries, smothered with cheese served with ranch!! Enjoy a wicked pub!!"
